Gotta got to St Clair tonight. Wait a minute, that's the band that sings that song, 'Stay', isn't it? F*ck me I love that song! Just realised that as I typed it on the page. Anyway, got to go there tonight to pick up a present for my girl's birthday. I reckon, in traffic, I won't get there till about 7:00pm. Gonna be f*cked, especially because I have no idea where this place is. Oh well, better get them CDs lined up ready to play. I bet I miss 'Big Brother' too. :(

I was feeling productive today so I took the PRS in for a setup and tightening up of the tremolo, then I cam home and put strings on my other two electrics, my acoustic, and even my bass.

 

I will now need to rest for several hours.

      It's ok. I think people know I am a massive Crue fan, and I like a lot of stuff by them that people hate (the Generation Swine album for example) but the only newer original song I have cared about them in recent years was The Dirt. Everything else has been either meh or crap. I did also like their cover of Like a virgin, which I know a lot of peeps didn't like, so it's not like I am just craving the good old days. I would be happy if we could get a song close to Afraid, Saints of Los Angeles or the aforementioned The Dirt. I think songs like that will be few and far between sadly.

      Have to agree. Although my expectations were that it would be absolutely horrible like Dogs of War lol. Still far away from classic Motley Crue but I at least made it all the way through this one so that's a positive. Still nothing to write home about but at least it rocks fairly well and there's a semblance of a song there.
