Sad news, one of my favorite drummers in the 80's.  He seemed like a genuinely good guy who had a lot of passion about music and his fans.  And seemed to have kept his usual positive outlook despite the diagnosis last year.  R.I.P. Frankie, you'll be missed.

Even though (imo) QR died w/Kevin Dubrow and I didn't care for his continuing the band/ and direction he was taking with it.He was without question a helluva drummer.His playing on 'Headless Children' is up there with the best drumming performances ever put to tape.

I'll always have fond memories of METAL HEALTH.  That one was in constant rotation in just about everyone's cassette deck the fall of 1983 when I started high school.

Great memories of the band.  RIP Frankie.
