New single from the new album. Great stuff!

From blabbermouth.net:

BEAST IN BLACK is putting the finishing touches on its sophomore album, "From Hell With Love", for a February 8, 2019 release via Nuclear Blast.

BEAST IN BLACK is the Helsinki, Finland-based metal band led by former BATTLE BEASTguitarist and main songwriter Anton Kabanen.

Commented BEAST IN BLACK: "Sometimes it felt like hell working so much and so hard on the second BEAST IN BLACK album, but we put our hearts fully into it. Well, this is for you guys,'From Hell With Love'!"

BEAST IN BLACK's debut album, "Berserker", was released last November via Nuclear Blast. The disc was produced by Kabanen and recorded primarily at his studio, Sound Quest Studio. The cover artwork was a collaboration between Anton and Roman Ismailov, who was the original illustrator and graphic artist for BATTLE BEAST.

Kabanen told Kaaos TV that BEAST IN BLACK was pleased with the reaction to"Berserker". "We had no expectations, basically," he said. "We felt that, 'Okay, we did a good job,' and were happy with the album and the reviews kept coming in and they kept coming and it was more than we expected. Good and bad, but mostly good. YouTube is a big part nowadays for every band and there, we also kind of took a 'rocket launch' beginning. People are watching the video very much, the first music video we released. That also plays a big role nowadays. One song can matter very much. People don't have that much album listening going on in this world nowadays. They listen to single songs in their playlists, so we've had help with that."

Anton went on to say that he was relieved that BEAST IN BLACK has gotten off to such a strong start. "I remember when we finally released the first song and the feedback started to come. It felt like I was out of jail, so to speak. It's been a long process. When you work on something for quite a long time, you don't know any more what's the reality, is it good or bad, you become blind to your own stuff, but you do. When it was out, the first song, it felt like, 'Yes! It's working. People like it.' We did something that's meaningful and that feels rewarding. It's like an out-of-the-jail feeling, although I've never been in jail, but mental jail, mental prison."

Kabanen was dismissed from BATTLE BEAST in February 2015 due to what was described at the time as "insurmountable disagreements" with the other members of the band.

Good, catchy songs. I would never in a million years call it metal though. Well, pop metal maybe. I'd put these guys in the AOR/Hard rock section though if I'm honest.

It's making me tap my feet though, so I'm giving thumbs up.

Fluffy Eurovision metal. Hopefully the singer will stay with them on full schedule and never return to his previous band.

Gave this one a spin - really doesn't do it for me at all. Some songs should be okay... but just aren't. Annoying chanty-type hooks aplenty here.

I don't like current Jaded Heart or Dynazty much at all anymore, but would listen to both of those bands over these guys if I wanted to listen to tacky Euro-metal. ;)

    • Vega, Crazy Lixx, HEAT, Degreed (this year will hit 5 winners ), ditto for Eclipse...no 5 this year will no doubt be great (I don't include their first 2 as they certainly hate them and they are never being recognised, played live or 're recorded) But I agree every band from yesteryear has at one stinker in their history (although I can listen to Hope & VOR they are definitely weaker)
    • Can't think of any of favorite bands who've released over 5 albums that haven't released at least on bad album.  Danger Danger - Dawn Dokken - Shadowlife Dream Theater - The Astonishing....ly fucking brutal release Van Halen - III and for the most part Diver Down Harem Scarem - Hope and Voice Of Reason...I honestly can't listen to either Lillian Axe - pretty much everything after Psycho... The only band that comes to mind to have released at least 5 albums, that are HH material and none have been poor or bad is likely H.E.A.T. although I've enjoyed some much more than others.
    • Love Reaction is the only track on the debut that I would not give it a 10, still a great tune, but the other 9 are all better.
    • Better at my end too.
    • Now it works again.
    • Thanx,I thought it was my connection also
    • Finally!!!!! Time to believe all the things that you see in this mannequin show...
    • I have BTBAR on an AOR treasures album. MP3 only. But it is v good quality. Brilliant chorus - one their best. I think White Widdow covered it as well on their Crossfire album (obviously not as good)
    • Pretty nice. Not my favourite from him... but nice.
    • That's a great song too, but not sure I have a top notch well produced version of that one... just an average demo, I think. 'Die off hard' is actually one of my all-time faves and I saw the error in my archives was a simple typo. Silly, but an actual error on my behalf.  Regarding 'Love Reaction' - it's a good song and one that has history for me too. I remember reading a review for the debut Harem Scarem album in a magazine for years; can't believe I forget the name now. Metal something (not Edge - it was a UK magazine). But I'd read the review so much in anticipation of finally getting the CD, and the reviewer there was wild about 'Love Reaction' and it was his pick from the album. So in the lead up I was so focused on that song and waiting for it as I played it for the first time when I eventually got it. Gotta admit, I was a bit underwhelmed. It is another of their massive banquet of awesome songs... but it's not up to top of the list for me for sure.  Arguably my least favourite on the sensational debut, to be honest.
