Well, I wanna believe you've been a good English lad, and have seen Saxon and Whitesnake. And I thought I recalled you saying you had seen Foo Fighters before, so that leaves Slipknot.

I kinda hate that it got this far.

Feels like Deal Or No Deal with the $200,000 still in play :)

Whitesnake

At last we have a winner!!!!!!!!

Yes, believe it or not I have never seen Whitesnake

Not sure why exactly, just never happened back in the day and more recently I have been reluctant around reports that his voice is shot.

For completion for the others were -

Slipknot - Brixton Academy (March 2000)

Foo Fighters - Brixton Academy (Dec 2000) & V Festival

Saxon - numerous times but most recently Brixton 2002

Thanks for playing guys..........anyone else want to throw up a list?????

Cheers

Id have to guess Jamiroquai first cos it would be hilarious if you actually hadnt seen him live.

Please tell me you have ;)

Well, shit. That didn't last. Haha.

I'm not sure they've even been to Canada.

It's not Bowie :) , I saw him back in 2004 at the Wembley arena in London on the tour for the Reality album with my dad, he has been a massive bowie fan for most of his life, From what i remember he put on a great show although i was only 10 years old at the time so can't remember a lot of details sadly , but one random thing that i do remember is bowie climbing on top of a massive box or cabinet on the stage and singing a couple of songs from really high up for some reason !

But a once in a lifetime talent for sure and such a shame that he is no more

So wait....youve seen Hall & Oates??

Awesome. What was that like?? Great imagine....what year?....come on spill the beans

Twice.

Trying to remember the years as the last decade has been a blur. I think it was 2011 and 2015.

2015 started off rough, because they weren't mixed well. But the sound guys got it sorted after a few songs. Daryl Hall at 63 -- at the time -- still had an amazing presence. At the end, my brother and I were a bit disappointed they didn't play all our favourite songs.

2011 was one of the best shows of my life! They were on fire! Daryl and John sounded great, the band was tight, and they played all my favourites. I'm hoping they come back soon.

Well, now that I know you're from the UK, I'm gonna say Black Stone Cherry.

Also, maybe I should take my list to the Mafia. See if I can stump any of them there. At the very least, I'll piss off a bunch with a few of those. ;}

Lovin this thread and talking about gigs - its something we dont do enough of around here - i hope a few more join in with their lists.

I don't think you would be disappointed. Daryl can still sing his ass off. Maybe can't sustain his high notes, but he can hit 'em. And, as I said, the band is so tight.

Funny how the Concerts thread never inspires much conversation.

    • FRONTIERS EXPANSION, NEW LABEL IMPRINT AND MAJOR SIGNING NEWS! A special message from Serafino Perugino, President of Frontiers Label Group: Dear friends, I am thrilled to announce the creation of Frontiers Label Group, which will umbrella Frontiers Music Srl and further labels, the first of which is our new imprint FLG. This expansion allows us to diversify and strengthen our position in the rock and metal landscape, while continuing to uphold the values that have guided us since the beginning. While Frontiers Music Srl remains home to melodic rock, hard rock, and metal artists, FLG will be dedicated to pushing the boundaries of rock and alternative music. This bold step marks our continued evolution as a leader in the rock and metal genres, and it is with immense pride that we welcome rock icons Skunk Anansie to the FLG family as the first signing to our new imprint. The signing of Skunk Anansie is a meaningful moment in the history of Frontiers, an important landmark in our development as one of the leading international rock and metal labels. This is only the beginning! We are excited to bring more news and announcements in the coming months as we continue to grow and expand Frontiers Label Group, our imprints and our roster of incredible artists. Thank you for your continued support as we embark on this exciting new journey together! Long Live Rock n’ Roll!! Serafino
    • New song 'The End Of Time'.
    • New video for 'Without You'.
    • Added Framing the Red over on the main site recently: Framing the Red discography reference list of music CDs. Heavy Harmonies Their website: Framing The Red Their Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/framingtheredband Their YouTube channel: (23) Framing the Red Official Page - YouTube They have four releases, and all are quite good in my opinion. If I had to describe them, I'd say this is what Gunshine would sound like if they went in a more southern rock direction.  Here are some of my favorite tracks... Crossroads   Whiskey & Weed   Holy Water   Mississippi Hippie   Heroes   Bonnie & Clyde   Rockin' Into the Night (38 Special cover)   "Crossroads" and "Heroes" are probably my two faves.  *I will give a word of warning:  if you decide to purchase any of their discs, they are barebones releases with just the CD in a cardboard slipcase. I enjoy the music enough that that's not an issue for me though.  @lettard @KarpetRydOFunk @tts42572 @AlphaMale @Dead Planet @Mr.AOR @tobi is an animal I think all of you gentlemen should give these guys a listen and see what you think.
    • H.E.A.T - 1000 Miles Vega - Hands In The Air The Defiants - Stay Issa - River of Love I'm at work right now so that's all I know off the top of my head but I'll look through my library for more when I get a chance.
    • Maybe anything by the Darkness
    • Wig wam - hard to be a rock n roller
    • Saw these guys first time a couple of years ago, when they were 16-17 years old, they are absolutely awesome. They have been touring for a few years now, performing their own songs, yet haven't released anything, until now. I have tickets to see them this saturday, opening for Mercenary. First single and video:
    • I want to compile quite an extensive playlist of hard rock songs that has a key change in the end. Why? Cause I think it sounds awesome Some well known exambles are: Bon Jovi - Living On a Prayer Wig Wam - In My Dreams Danger Danger - Don't Blame it on Love H.E.A.T - Beg Beg Beg
