the chances are we are fucked in the quarter final as we will most probably meet Brazil or Spain.

The best we can hope for is if we top the group and Holland beat Spain tomorow, cos then we get Holland in the last 8 which is doable.

Only problem then is the Argies in the semis...........

Its gonna be emotional.

The whole competition is sooooooooooo open........Does anyone REALLY know how good all the teams are.........Lots are relying on individual players people know......NOT the team.......SO..........Come on ENGLAND........

One game in and already we have dodgy ref decisions.

1. He should have been sent off for that elbow - he even looked at the player a few seconds before!

2. That was never a penalty

3. very dubious foul on the Brazilian keeper denied Croatia a possible 2nd goal.

If I was a Croatia fan I'd be pissed right now.

Not overly covinced by Brazil - a few flurries of magic but overall a bit weak..........cant see them beating strong well organised sides like Germany or Spain

or England...............

Sterling was terrific, and they played well generally, first half especially. Defence needs to tighten up and I know it's 'Trendy' to have a go at Rooney, but he was a bit shite apart from the cross. Onwards to the next match

Some great acting and diving skills going on there. Some great careers outside of Football await

Well.........

The USA DID JUST ABOUT enough..........

NIGERIA - IRAN 0-0.ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Germany 4 Ronaldugal 0........Although scoring a hat-trick,Academy-award winner Billy Bob Tommy Muller = What a cheating,bullshitting tart he is......Apart from that,solid performance........

Yep, good performance as usual from Germany..............BUT

1. Portugal are S.H.I.T.E. (esp the keeperr lol) so we cant really conclude anything from that result. In fact I reckon that USA might beat them too as they put in a very spirited game against Ghana...........

2. Thomas Muller is a cheating bastard. Period. In no way am I condoning a player putting their forehead on another player cos that is foolish and is an obvious red card, but if are all being honest I think we all know what prompted it.......some pretty pathetic play acting from Muller which was nothing short of intentionally trying to get a player booked / sent off. Disgraceful imo.

I don't agree, Glen. What prompted it was that Mueller got hit in the face by Pepe, who has always been a fouling bastard. And then he walks back to Mueller, screams at him and knocks his head against Mueller's ?? Come on!!

If Pepe would have left Mueller alone after the foul everything would have been okay. But going head to head when Mueller is sitting on the ground is just stupid, Even more when the ref is standing 5 meters next to him. The red card was deserved.

And talking about a cheating bastard ... what about Rooney in the CL quarter finals against Bayern Munich? Schweinsteiger didn't even touch him and got sent off because of Rooney's play-acting.

Im not condoning cheating from any player....

I actually think that England and German players are very good for NOT diving etc...........

Yeah Pepe was an idiot.......BUT the hand incident was merely a 'brush' of the face (and in no way intentional)....like we see so many times and a player goes down as if he's been shot. There was surely nothing wrong with Muller 2 seconds later when we was up screaming obscenities.

I just hate it when things like this turn a game.

In this instance Germany were clearly on top, but in so many others it can decide a teams fate.

    • Yep, superb album, would have loved a follow up also.

    • Brilliant album...oh how I pine for a follow up
    • Releases July 26. $47.08 at ImportCDs: https://www.importcds.com/dynamite-china-years-complete-recordings-1988-1993/5013929929920 8CD complete collection of recordings released by China Records. Featuring what most consider to be the classic line-up of The Dogs D'Amour; Jo 'Dog' Almeida on guitar, Steve James on bass, the onomatopoeic Bam on drums, and of course fronted by songwriter and singer, the inimitable Tyla. Propelled by the albums' three singles 'The Kid from Kensington', 'I Don't Want You to Go' and 'How Come It Never Rains' edging their way up the charts, when The Dogs D'Amour's genre-defining 1988 "debut" 'In The Dynamite Jet Saloon' (CD2) was released in 1988, it must have looked like the band was an overnight sensation. But this couldn't have been further from the truth. The Dogs D'Amour originally formed in 1983, and had already recorded two previous "debut" albums. First was 1984's now highly collectable 'The State We're In', for Finnish label Kumibeat. Further recordings were made in 1985 and 1986 for Watanabe Records in Japan, and it's the latter where this collection kicks off. 'The (Un)Authorised Bootleg Album' (CD1) was the record originally intended for Japan. The second set in this collection is the aforementioned In 'The Dynamite Jet Saloon' (CD2), bursting with classics. A highly prolific band in their earliest days, 'Errol Flynn' (re-titled 'King Of The Thieves' in the States) (CD3) was released in 1989 as was the extended mini-album, 'A Graveyard Of Empty Bottles Vol. 1' (CD4), a collection of acoustic songs that reached the UK Top 20. 1990 saw the release of '... Straight?!!' (CD5) featuring the singles 'Victims of Success', 'Empty World' and 'Back On The Juice'. Unfortunately, and in true rock 'n' roll tradition, the band split up on stage in Los Angeles in 1991. Thankfully the band regrouped for the self-explanatory '... More Unchartered Heights Of Disgrace' (CD6) in 1993. This eight CD collection is completed with no less than two discs of rarities, live tracks and B-sides with 'Singles, B-Sides & Rarities' (CD7) and 'Even More Singles, B-Sides & Rarities' (CD8), making this the most complete and comprehensive collection of the band's recordings for China.   - Disc 1 - 1 Firework Girl 2 Chains 3 Gold 4 Pourin' Out My Heart 5 Wait Until I'm Dead 6 How Do You Fall in Love Again? 7 Kiss This Joint 8 Heroine 9 Tales of Destruction 10 Dynamite Jet Saloon 11 Swingin' the Bottle - Disc 2 - 1 Debauchery 2 I Don't Want You to Go 3 How Come It Never Rains 4 Last Bandit 5 Medicine Man 6 Gonna Get It Right 7 Everything I Want 8 Heartbreak 9 Billy Two Rivers 10 Wait Until I'm Dead 11 Sometimes 12 The Kid from Kensington 13 The State I'm in - Disc 3 - 1 Drunk Like Me 2 Goddess from the Gutter 3 Hurricane 4 Satellite Kid 5 Errol Flynn 6 Planetary Pied Piper 7 Princess Valium 8 Dogs Hair 9 Trail of Tears 10 Ballad of Jack 11 The Prettiest Girl in the World 12 The Girl Behind the Glass 13 Things Seem to Go Wrong 14 Oooh!
