Black Diamonds - Perfect Sin

Black Diamonds is a Swiss band and they play melodic sleaze metal on their new album. Nothing new, just some absolutely listenable songs with a good production. I guess this one is gonna be a grower. We'll see. :D

Not Bad. Kind of a Burn Halo thing going. I like Swiss music as well as melodic sleaze. Do you know much about the Swiss band Toad that sang Money Don't Matter? That's the only song I've heard from them off a compilation.

Agree with TIM, not bad. Very 80s-sounding at times. I'm not keen on the vocals, but otherwise it's pretty good. Love the melodic guitar at around 1:55 in this clip!

One of the real surprises of the year. At 15 tracks, I found this to be a super consistent disc, and good all the way through. The intro and closing ballad are the only weak tunes, but all 13 of the other songs are very strong. 'I'll be ok' and 'Up all night' are my favourite songs, but I definitely recommend people to check this one out.

A very good disc indeed although their slower songs / ballads seem to be their weakest links. I like most of the tracks here, but in particular, 'Judgement Day', 'I'll Be Okay', 'We Want To Party', and 'Somebody Put Something In My Drink'. The vocal is kinda unique, I swear I've heard this style somewhere but can't recall. Guitar part is awesome, many splendid riffs around, and production part is also almost flawless. For an indie product, I guess that's great.

I do like that tune.

$15 budget for the film clip - It looks like they probably had $5 left over to share a pint after the shoot. :)
