Ah no wonder you took offense to the posts. Well, I hope for your sake you have better luck with them/ him than I did as a buyer. The band is great and I wish you guys the best but I wish you had picked a better label.

Thanks! Appreciate that and you have good taste in music (I am mostly a lurker here but read many of the recommendations). It just feels good to finally have this see the light of day. Almost happened a few years ago but so glad it didn't as that label is now defunct (Im sure you can guess who).

The CD consists of 2 separate demos. 4 songs with the original line up (which you hear in the clip), and 3 with our 2nd line up which had a new bassist and we added a 2nd guitarist. Its pretty versatile and doesnt get stuck in the same formula. One song "Slipping Away" someone described as Tesla meets The Doors! Theres also a basement recording and 4 live tracks that were never recorded in the studio.

At least with these postings my forum name makes sense hah! I would love to go with my Radio Show name but don't wanna lose my posting count and have to start over especially to view the buy, sell, trade section.

Thanks for the positive feedback even with your problems with the label. You rock my friend.

A brief clip of me LIVE doing the intro for "Cold Survivor" the basement recording on the CD! (This is not the version on the CD)

I haven't seen this confirmed one way or the other in the thread: Is this being released as a replicated CD or burned CD-R?

I'm pretty sure they are regular CD but let me find out and get back to you ASAP. I have more then 100 sold already (one guy bought 25 to give away to people!!) and it's still in pre-order.

Not much feedback here yet on the samples (not sure if its due to label or the music sucks haha) but other outlets seem to enjoy it knowing what it is....music recorded from 1994-1995 that has yet to see the light of day in any outlet.

Ok will get back soon with info for you. Thanks for the interest. :)

You should be in control of that as the artist. The label was quick to blame Tora Tora for using cdr's.

Unfortunately right now there is a lot of bad blood between a LOT of people and FnA records. :(

Perhaps but at least I am different then most of these bands where I am full blown into the scene. I'm not only a musician I am also a collector and know all the obscure bands just like everyone here. I know all the labels, a lot of the stories and so on and so forth. I am the one making these teaser videos, I handled ALL artwork, and design concepts. I am very hands on with my work. I guess it was bad on my part to assume they are regular pressed CD's but there is no way the label would be able to put any blame on my end. I have a very big cult following with my radio show (www.themetalmadman.com) which is another platform I have and I am highly respected in the industry both as a musician and a radio host.

Me included. I'm done with them.

Hmm...add another big name to the list. DrumRman, believe me...I really do wish you the best but where their is smoke, there is fire. The guy thinks I am small time but I will follow through with what I told him. I will make sure everyone knows what a douche he is and I won't stop until the label is shut down.

Period.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hey guys. The album is released. These are from what I'm told high end CD-R's.

If you have issues with FNA I understand not purchasing, if you are only a silver pressed buyer I also understand. This isnt a debate or anything like that just letting those know who enjoy great hard rock about the release. I do believe its a great packaging, and would look great in your collection, and in your music players!

Buy here

    • Glad you and yours are ok Mike. There's been a lot of buzz on social media about the LACK of response from FEMA and the current admin. Have you seen or heard anything on the ground one way or the other?
    • Not sure if anyone has noticed my absence over the last 10 days, but I've only been able to sign in a few times from work over the course of that period. As some of you may know, on Friday, September 27th, Hurricane Helene slammed into western North Carolina and absolutely devastated this area, leveling entire towns in its path. In my 52 years on this planet, I've never seen destruction like this with my own eyes.  While my home and property were spared any major problems, our road looked like a damn warzone with all the trees and powerlines down. We were literally trapped like rats in a maze for several days, as even though some good samaritans were able to cut their way through the downed trees so we could leave the neighborhood, all roads leading out of this area were closed off, either due to trees and lines down, or due to flooding.   I was out of work for six days, as my employer had no power. We had no power here at the house for 9 days, with it being restored late yesterday evening. We lost several hundred dollars worth of food that thawed out from our fridge and freezers. No hot water after day one, no cell signal for several days, no stores or restaurants open for several days... If it sounds like I'm complaining, I assure you, I am not. I am grateful. My family and friends are blessed, as we're all pretty much back up and running now. While there was some severe flooding here in Morganton just around two miles from my house, overall, it was MILD around here. Once you drive a mere 20 miles up the road to a little town called Old Fort in McDowell County, and everything west from there, it is exponentially worse. Huge chunks of Asheville under water, Chimney Rock literally wiped off the map, Spruce Pine damn near wiped away, small towns with no communication to the outside world with people struggling. It is BAD here in Western NC, and it's going to take a LONG time for things to get back to some semblance of normal for ALOT of people.  I just felt the need to post and let anyone who might have noticed I was MIA that I am fine, but that alot of good people are not. Please keep western North Carolina in your thoughts and prayers, and if that's not your thing, drink one for all of us tonight. Here are a few links that I've shared over the last week on FB that show the devastation around here... https://fb.watch/v331QebVRJ/ https://www.facebook.com/100067755911039/videos/1069274148086583/ https://www.facebook.com/share/p/ER9b6tv8oj84QuWb/ https://www.facebook.com/share/p/9MpnKZUAx4m5oy3y/ All these aerial shots are from around 1-2 miles from my house: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/vux5WpAqeMDcNMhS/ https://fb.watch/v33x13dnTf/ https://www.facebook.com/share/p/V6RPz7HiiMhrBsfn/ https://www.facebook.com/share/p/vvEuMCm7We6fitZ9/ https://www.facebook.com/share/v/jE1utxkfNLeKEM9S/ Park Rangers in Chimney Rock managed to get the flag raised up again...
    • I've got a solid top 3 at this point.  At least for me, these 3 are heads and shoulders above everything else: 1.  Kissin' Dynamite 2.  Eclipse 3.  Maverick After that, it's really a hodgepodge of stuff.  New Roses, Daughtry (Only an EP but digging it), Collateral, Sebastian Bach, Judas Priest, Nestor, End Machine.  I'd probably put them in about that order at the moment.
    • So I was just looking at the new releases I bought from this year, and while there are some new additions to expand from the top 5 I posted earlier this year, to a top 10, all the stuff in my original list are still in the top 10 (although obvs with three months to go, the ones near the bottom could be usurped). Anyway as of now, this is where I am at: 1.       Judas Priest 2.       The Warning 3.       Nek! 4.       Rolling Quartz 5.       Band Maid 6.       April Art 7.       Lipz 8.       Sebastian Bach 9.       Mick Mars 10.   Durbin
    • I to used see them a few times at the Middle as well. With local chapter of the Hells Angels at front bar. Not much a Screaming Jets fan, so I didn't watch them with Gleeson' The guy in front now, was their recent drummer before they put out in front Those first five albums are classics
    • My brother was playing some of this guy's stuff a few months ago. I only now got around to checking it out for myself. Pretty fuckin' good!
    • Seems these guys are no more   https://sleazeroxx.com/r-i-p-cobrakill-lead-guitarist-randy-white-announces-band-no-longer-exists/
    • I grew up listening to Cuntry, and have kinda wanted to get back into it. But not the typical New Cuntry shit. So I'll give this a try.
    • I always forget about this band, and then I listen to them and am like, "Oh, yeah, they're good!" And then forget about them for another year.
