phaffas
Lizzy Borden - Master Of Disguise No Sweat - Heart And Soul Winter Rose - I'll Never Fall In Love Again Bad City- Call Paul Stanley just off the top of head I never heard any of those songs before and now I can't stop playing these two! Bad City is a killer album! All songs will stay in your head.

JamesEagle
Saints and Sinners - Frankenstein (Saints and Sinners) While there were a few good albums in your post (including 'Love & War' by Lillian Axe, one of my all time favourites) I do agree about this one. Highly rated album, but this is the only song that rocked my world. I've discovered another couple of albums with only a single track that will need regular plays: Shout - Tonight You're Mine (Shout) Bad Habit - Without You (Atmosphere) [sorry, Nightrain, I really wanted to like the album, but this is the only outstanding song imo.]

Highly rated album, but this is the only song that rocked my world. Totally missed that, but 'Frankenstien' is the weakest song on an otherwise very consistent hard rock disc. 'We belong,' Takin' my chances' or 'Wheels of fire' would be my fave, but it's crazy you guys pick the album's closest thing to a filler as a standout. I can understand people who don't like AOR usually won't like this, but I know you like Serpentine, so I'm pretty amazed Bad Habit isn't your thing as this band and album is far better than that in AOR/MHR category, but the taste of music will always remains a mystery

Jeff
Glen, That was the post that threw me over the edge. My blood actually increased temperature for a bit. It wasn't the only post in this thread, but it was "the straw".

Jez
How the hell are Dare ,David Pack, Heartland, Tyketto and Vixen 1 track albums. Each to their own I know, but that is plain Craaaazzzzzyyyyy!!
Captain Howdy
I know its a case of to each their own, but I have to agree with the majority when it comes to albums like Tyketto and Vixen. Either people just dont get the point of this thread and think its just a "pick your favourite song from an album" type thing, or they really are missing out on some great songs. I'm sure my Skull example could be picked apart as well, but I can accept that.
Geoff
No doubt some people got ridiculous with this thread... regardless of personal opinion. My examples, however, were awesome and people should refer to them as to how this thread should be tackled.

TIM (2)
'In another life' - Attraction 65 wow you suck. You can't criticise everyone else then post that? You may have picked the best song there, and granted it's not without filler, but it's got lots of great songs too. P.s. Some of the posts in this thread are too stupid to warrant a response. Yeah, I certainly wouldn't say it's a terrible album, but I just based that on the fact that it's the only song I've bothered playing from the CD in about 5 years now. I can't even remember the rest anymore.

TIM (2)
DEADRINGER - Electrocution of the Heart Worth owning for one song, "Love's a Killer", which is utterly awesome. The rest is pretty bland to say the least. NICKLEBACK - Here and Now Nearly worth owning for "Trying Not to Love You". Actually scrub that. Not worth owning at all. JAGGED EDGE - Fuel for Your Soul Worth owning for "Out in the Cold" (though the title-track isn't bad either). I know Alfonzetti re-recorded it for his stunning "Ready" album, but this version was better... TNT - All the way to the Sun "Sometimes" is great. The rest is mostly shite. Still on the plus side, is still better than the 3 albums that followed it...

Fuel for your soul is 100 times better than A65, but in Another life is better than anything on Fuel for your soul. I knew that would be a contentious one! I didn't say that picking A65 was stupid, everyone is entitled to their views, was just surprised Geoff had mentioned it given his tastes. In all honesty I'd take A65 over this any day of the week. It showed good potential but was too bluesy for my tastes so I liked the more mainstream tunes the best (the title-track and "Out in the Cold", and the latter is the only tune I really keep this for)...
