Which is the better Black Sabbath breakup album?

Both the above albums are excellent examples of 80s heavy metal, but which was better?

But I do love them both and Ozzy did the right thing at the time following a more Metal inspired Van Halen approach, after all he's sold millions of records. But H&H is my fav album of all time and the title track is probably the best Metal song ever written IMO.

I chose Blizzard of Ozz, mainly because of Randy Rhoads' debut, and classic (if overplayed) cuts "Crazy Train", "Mr. Crowley" and "I Don't Know". All three of those songs are melodic metal classics.

 

But even with that said, Heaven and Hell is an awesome CD. I think it's a pretty hard choice...

I love the 'Blizzard' disc and still consider it Ozzy's finest album outside of Sabbath, but 'Heaven & Hell' is a monster and still sounds phenomenal to this day, so gets the vote.

I love the "Blizzard of Ozz" album but HEAVEN AND HELL is a MASTERPIECE, My #1 Metal album of all times. Period.

Damn Jimbo, throwin' out some tuff ones. This has more to do with Iommi for me but I went with H&H. Yeah, Blizzard is a great one. I had the tape when I was in 6th grade and still spin the cd on a regular basis so I have many memories that go with it. But it's Iommi and Dio. Period.
