So far I've listened to the JSS/Talisman, Melodica and Sgt. Roxx - I'm lovin' it all! Definitely have to find the other Melodica, Poley/Pilcher and Bone Machine stuff... I wonder if Ted's still as hot as he was with DD?? A girl can only hope! ;)

It had been a while since I had visited this local used cd shop. Today I bought:

Exodus - Impact is Imminent

Desultory - Bitterness

Aerosmith - Done With Mirrors Original release with backwards printing

Traveling Wilburys - Vol. 1

Annihilator - Never, Neverland

But my biggest treat was waiting for me at home. I had begun to worry about getting these CDs looking at the feedback he had been getting lately. (jcshobbyshop)

Heist - High Heel Heaven $3

Betsy - S/T $3

(Lot of 12 CDs for $7.50)

Shudderbug - Who's Ya' Daddy?

Condemned - "Heavy & Live"

Violent Playground - Thrashin Blues

Badger - Fierce Rock 'N' Roll

Dirty Blonde - Passion

Chosin Few - S/T

Everybody's X - S/T

Metal Minded - Compilation

Metal Mythos - Compilation

Helloween - Keeper Part 2

I won all these from the same person and paid $18.50 for the lot + the other two auctions at $3 a piece plus he paid $7.00 for shipping :banger:

Yeah, I just started looking for it this week, and for $6.99 I just had to pick it up. Now I don't have to go through the hassle of buying if off eBay. You can usually found it listed on eBay for about the price I paid if not cheaper. I still own the original LP.

Today, I bought:

Shania Twain UP! Live In Chicago on DVD.

I went to her sold out show(16,900 people at the Pacific Coliseum) on Thursday and she put on one hell of a concert. I had a great seat. Interestingly enough, one of her band members who plays guitar/violin is from my city. I remember seeing this guy many times busking for change at the Seabus terminal, downtown, and out in New Westminster at the Quay. Now he plays for Shania Twain!

There was a round of boos from the audience during the band members' introduction when it was revealed the drummer was from Tampa Bay. That quickly changed when it was learned he was born in Las Vegas.

Yeah, thats what I'm always saying too, because everytime I do get something nice is seems to get damaged in a rather quick fashion.

The Gear Daddies are (were) a band from Minnesota that had a pretty big following in the midwest (ND, SD, MN, IL) and my brother was friends with the lead singer Martin Zeller. Their music is hard to describe, country/folk-rock I guess, very Dylan-esque. AMG sites a heavy Byrds influence. All of my friends who I've played them for have liked them.
