  1. Arrival I must have missed something as this one was a dud.
  2. Welcome back. Glad to see some old timers return and I know we have traded a couple times so familiarity is nice.
  3. Yeah, I've come to the point where I'd let go of my entire collection tomorrow (well, bar maybe about 100 discs) but none of it is converted to MP3, and how do you even start that process? Can I hire one of you guys to do it? I'll pay you $0.40. Anyway, that is an awesome result for you, Bob. You got a price you were happy with? Somewhat reflective of the costs you put into obtaining it? That's the albatross isn't it as in most of our collections we have discs that range from a quarter to a thousand bucks if sold on he open market at the right time to the right person. So pricing would be a bitch. I mean shit 15,000 CDs, speaking for me of course, do you take a buck a disc and assume that the bulk is for the pricey ones and the outcome of unloading the lot is the answer in lieu of dealing with the cherry pickers and then end up with way too many commons that you can't unload? Sounds epically stressful either way. And then to ship. I'm sure Bobs sale is relatively local so a day or two road trip to deliver or pick up was worth the effort.
  4. Yes saw this yesterday and was shocked to say the least. As Keith and others mentioned he is/was a staple in so many movies over the years that I loved. In honoraria I will do my best to butter a few muffins. RIP BP you have left an epic legacy and left us way to soon.
  5. Picked up that 4 disc Steely Dan box set Citizen. Nice one and the price was amazing at $6.00.
  6. Weird as I too was just a wondering where this has made it too. Guess I should have kept it. Looks like HSF had is last... Jay, that magnificent bastard...
  7. Not many around these parts could pull that off. I am sure the first 5 guesses shouldn't count... Sorry to see the collection go, but I get it. I look at the sea of boxes in my garage and get sad daily at the fact that the collection won't see the light of day for another 5 years...
  8. http://www.roxxproductions.com/ Looks like they distro through Christian Metal Distro...
  9. Nice! Never heard of them until I got Swamp Rebel Machine which certainly enlightened me and I became an instant fan.
  10. Weird as I too was just a wondering where this has made it too. Guess I should have kept it.
  11. Bill Roxx releases re releases Christian metal and hard rock. On my phone or I'd give you a link. He posts up on Heart of Metal regularly.
  12. Glad you came to the party albeit late. Yes I to, as I am regularly, shocked by the lack of love for MT. I screamed accolades about this disc well before its release and still rather like it, refer to my best of 2016 list and the boys are sure great guys and very receptive to chatting about their band (s) and such. Very much highly anticipating disc 2.
  13. Those 2 songs are tasty indeed. https://www.facebook.com/DanielGazzoliProject/
  14. In The Heart Of The Sea Ron Howard's epic telling of Melville's Moby Dick. Good film, must have been a muther to recreate some of the boats and such. I enjoyed this film.
  15. Nice. I actual like the second singer in the Lunatic Fringe cover better than the first.
  16. How about bad business practices like advertising stuff that he never had in store and then instead of refunding, giving "credit" for the next purchase? Good riddance! That is reason enough for a shut down. Never heard of them and never bought anything (and never would as the site is weird and the $$ are well outside of my comfort zone).
  17. Nice overview shame on the opener. However made up for with Angus in tow and the seat adjust. GnR is one of those bands I never did see for whatever reason not unlike Maiden. And unfortunately in today's economy I would NEVER drop the outrageous asking price for a seat to the show. I will stick to the b level bands playing the club for a few hundred real fans and save a hundred bucks.
  18. I find the schtick entertaining and brilliant on many levels mostly the sexist pig level but hey it is what we all are thinking. I wish they would do some more of those old time videos where they played with a hammered Kelly Clarkson or Sully or Avril Lavigne I thought all that to be quite fun and those live performances are begging for a proper recording not cell phone bs.
  19. Haven't thought about this one since I bought the VHS of it waaaaay back when.
  20. I'm really hoping that Jordan Peele's Get Out is good. It's a bit early, but currently holds 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. I'm guessing it's gonna be more suspense than horror, though. Suspense is good, that builds the dread. At least it's rated R. Watched the trailer and from that the movie could go either way, but the acting looks good and I'm always hopeful.
