  1. Mississippi Grind A very non threatening and also no real point Ryan Reynolds affair about some gamblers and their non history.
  2. Well 2017 begins with another passing as MASH actor William Christopher who is famous for playing Father Mulcahy. RIP Bill.
  3. Nifty lil' number from this Brazilian HMR act. Should appeal to many but then again, let the players play and the haters hate... EP released in late 2016. https://www.facebook.com/bandahardstuff http://www.hardstuff.com.br/index
  4. Yes gang, Happy New Year and to echo Stefan's sentiment, 2016 was a rough year. Let's hope 2017 is better, however come January 20th when the new commander in chief is sworn in all bets are off...
  5. To the chagrin of many here these come to mind almost immediately: Blackboard Jungle-I Like It A Lot Vain-Beat The Bullet
  6. Batman Vs Superman the extended cut. Far superior to the theatrical release and actually adds to the story and aids in tying up some lose ends.
  7. I packed up all how many thousand of cd's I have 4 years ago and they have yet to be unearthed and as Glen mentioned who knows when they will see the light of day. That said I will always insist on physical mediums for all my media as I will never accept spending real tangible $$$ for an intangible object.
  8. I don't like it. I recently bit the bullet and bought a Blu Ray player, I know unrelated to music but you'll get the point and when discussing the pros and cons at various stores and online review reading the bulk of the reviews were centered around the "smart app's" the players could access not how well they played the media or what varieties of media the players could play. Sad.
  9. Wardogs-meh, a few mildly amused chuckles but nothing spectacular. Storks-Fun family film with lots of silliness and impressive animation.
  10. Not bad at all and obviously you all know the singer... Tony Martin - Vocals Rob Math - Guitar Cat Tate - Bass Karpis Maksudian - Drums Derek Sherinian - Keyboards (guest musician)
  11. ? Yes, I just found the tune highly listenable and very much appreciated the eclectic vibe. Pleasantly surprised and not the norm but again competently played and enjoyable.
  12. Miss Perigrin's School For Peculiar Children Not bad.
  13. Agreed. I am reading a good amount of humanitarian type stories and such with regards to George. Sounds as if he was even cooler than we knew. RIP George.
  14. Sigh. And 60 just. Sure she hasn't aged all that well and as we have read she lived a rather full life. RIP Carrie, I enjoyed a great many of your roles outside Star Wars which I totally loved, you will be missed.
  15. Just intro'd the kiddies to the epic Pete Jackson adaptation of King Kong. I must say this holds up well and even though it is long it doesn't feel like it.
  16. I enjoyed BFG. My buddy worked on this one, so I was just glad he had another good film under his belt. He's had a couple duds. Namely, The Seventh Son. But he's had some good ones, too. Godzilla! Thats quite cool... Secret Life of Pets Suicide Squad and The Great Outdoors 3 Blu Rays the kids got and all are/were good.
  17. Ah yes Merry Chrimbo everyone. Ours was a nice one and I got exactly what I wanted: So sorry Ravonette's...NOT!
  18. That it is. This one is also funny as are many others.
  19. BFG Not bad at all. Obviously a massive undertaking from Mr. Spielberg but it is a solid watchable film for the whole family.
  20. These kids appear to be still mucking about and the "Standbye" track is a nice song. https://www.facebook.com/roughtwist
  21. Didn't see anything with regards to these kids, looks like they are now no more but the tunes on Youtube are worth a spin and a few here will appreciate it.
  22. Surprised this one hasn't popped up from Mr. AOR as this seems to be dripping with that 80's AOR/Pop and movie tie in vibe that a grip of us are going ga ga for... ONly found the one song and the FB page hasn't seen much activity and no posts since July. https://www.facebook.com/deltaforceaor
  23. Didn't see any mention of this Italian band that is very VH inspired groove rock and there 2015 release. Tough to get too much info's online as to weather or not they are still about but the cuts off the Would You Like Something Fresh? are indeed fresh. Some earlier stuff that is awesome and more glam metal
  24. Of course. I will update as I get them. Here is the image of the tape wish I had it...
