  1. Welcome George and Nelson huh? I haven't spoke with him in a long while, we used to trade quite a bit. Glad he's about still, to. As he won't be hanging about here any longer.
  2. The Naked Gun and Snakes on a Plane Two hysterical films but for different reasons.
  3. That was nice and it goes to show the even these new pop tarts of country sound pretty OK singing some classic country songs. Great to see Alabama, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, Ronnie Milsap, George Straight, the ever sexy Reba and even though singing is a ways off Randy Travis. And Charlie Pride! I wish Dwight Yokum could have gotten in there and maybe some of the rebel country kids but I dig it, thanks for sharing.
  4. The intro: "I am a looking for sumthing that will explode in your face, but at the same time it has to be smooth, dja know what I mean? But you know at the same time you can not put too much in the bottom..." ~ priceless. The song is nice as mentioned.
  5. Fantastic Beasts and The Fantastic 4. Yep a fantastic day!
  6. Cool EPK from 1994: https://youtu.be/pn1sHxNALv0
  7. Stumbled upon this recently posted YouTube vidja of the Corabi era Crue. Hand held stuff but certainly produced well as if it was supposed to be a release. Maybe it was and I missed it? Fun to watch none the less and they certainly cap on BJ, Slaughter and Lars... Cuts off abruptly as if maybe there is a art 2 or something. https://youtu.be/my5NZytQtNI
  8. March 9th was 2 years ago since this tragedy and it is still a healing sore. Thinking about scrounging in another thread I named dropped you pal and it reminded me of... I miss you buddy and I hope your still ryding those stars! Here's a Tacoma Metal Band I gave to James on one of his trips to Auburn, I hope you can hear this pal as it is up to 11!
  9. Ahh yes Paulo there is a name I have not heard in a month of Sundays. Wonder what he is about these days as we used to do a good bit of treading... Yea I miss those scrounging days, of course those are LONG gone, as most the places we used to punish are gone as is the remaining stores interest in cd's as a whole. Wish you and I could hit a days worth of stops as I am certain we shouldn't have missed anything and would have had some stellar memories and unknown discs to hoard and share with the group.
  10. Who is disrespecting Sean? From what I've read, more disrespect has been shown for Bobby Blotzer than anybody. Maybe Frankie Banali #2. Agreed more mockery to the situation and the Prima Donna drummers than anyone else from what I have read. Certainly a great amount of jokes centered around drummers and this situation (s) just add fuel to the fire.
  11. Yep that is neat and a testament to ALL the one off unknowns that we all search for, well at least me, Del, James G (RIP,), Jim and a few others... For those that missed it the name is a take on the Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer claymation movie from whenst we were kids. The island of Misfit toys and the "charlie in a box"... which is obviously pictured on the cover and disc art... Did you get it from the band per chance?
  12. Moana I rather enjoyed this one and the kids did too.
  13. Trolls, again. Pretty dang funny and quite entertaining. 31, omfg. Pure drivel. Not remotely shocking or scary or anything. Shame on you Rob Zombie for this cash grab. Inferno, meh. More Vkear and Present Danger than Davinvi Code. Son In Law, introduced the kids to the Paul Shore vehicle and the kids didn't mind at all. Of course the ever luscious Tiffany Amber Theison is a crowd pleasure no doubt. X-Men, my daughter is big into the superhero movies so we are revisiting the older ones too and this one is nice. Of course it has all been done again and again in future installments but this one is nice. With no Stan Lee cameo and no end of trailer teaser. Nerve, teen social media dare flick with a Franco and Eric Roberts daughter. Not bad but certainly made for teens.
  14. Ahhh that is very pleasant indeed and ironically I was just wondering what the Jamiroquai was up to and viola!
  15. Its a lot better than I would have assumed and I have been avoiding this thread like that lump on my balls... I like the voice and the stops are nice. Warrant or not its a solid rock n roll tune.
  16. Fun. Top 3: Slick Black Cadillac Let's Get Crazy Love's a Bitch Bottom 3: Don't Wanna Let You Go Breathless Cum On Feel The Noise
  17. That is bloody brilliant and precisely as Bill Hicks predicted. Unfortunately he is dead and these adverts aren't in America, so...
  18. That is bad ass. Wonder what kind of royalties they pay to Master Lucas for all that???
  19. We'll today's your lucky day, cause guess what?? They're making a second part!! Might be a prequel I don't remember anymore but there's a new one coming Cool. I did enjoy this film and the kid who played the lead in this was the lead in Eddie the Eagle, which was excellent as well.
  20. JD sings those classic hits well. This certainly sounds more fitting for him than that Hollywood whatever EP he just released. That said the songs are established and he is certainly not doing anything but copying to the note. Doing it well but nothing that would be his own flair. Even mic stand use, I wonder if that's a prerequisite from Frankie as Dubrow spun those religiously and was a staple schtick for him and the band. Anyway JD has done well in QR and the new record will probably sound better with his voice even though the songwriting won't be there that was back in 1983, so I can't imagine anything remarkable or memorable. Has anyone made the parallel that James Durbin and Kevin Dubrow have samey names with equal numbers of letters? It's fated in the stars I recon.
  21. Yes this one is on the watch list for certain. For my daughters birthday yesterday we saw Kong Skull Island and it was bad ass. Spoiler alert when you see watch the credits as the last 2 minutes after the credits is mind shattering! At least for fanboys like me.
  22. Getting ready to watch Doctor Strange. Highly anticipating this so I am hoping for it to be good.
  23. Lame and a crying shame. 2/3rd's of one of the greatest bands of our genre is gone. Glad I had the honor of seeing the original band twice back in the day on the In Rock We Trust and Open Fire tours, also saw the latest incarnation recently. RIP Joey
