  1. Kept it light last night and re-watched Hall Pass with the misses and Goosebumps with the kids. Both fun to watch.
  2. Don't Breath Not bad. Certainly not "scary" but it is good, the acting is solid, it has an "R" rating and Raimi's involved so yea!
  3. Watched Kong Skull Island again... still excellent!
  4. Yes tragic indeed. He leaves behind a legacy of powerful music and 6 kids... Seems as mentioned the depression got the best of him. However it also seems he had a plan as he emulated his hero Chris Cornell and cemented his homage to the grunge god on Chris' birthday no less. As mentioned about the band Linkin Park, which wasn't for everyone, but Hybrid Theory is still a fave and my daughter was really getting into some of the newer mellower stuff. Never foget how good they were live supporting Hybrid Theory and watching Chester scream SOOOOOOO much that he actually threw up. Sure there is a sound chance he was partaking in libations as well but... Still have my signed ticket stub about some place. RIP young man, I hope you put as much (or more) thought into your kids affairs as you did to the planning of your demise.
  5. NO not horror but certainly has moments of supreme tension and graphic violence. Another great performance from Anton Yelchin. RIP.
  6. Agreed. I posted about this one a bit back. Really well done and blacker than the inside of a cow. 21 Jump Street damn funny even though it has Jonah Hill in it. Channing Tate-Yum is a studly dude and funny as heck.
  7. Waterboy ~ funny stuff, what ever happened to Fairuza Balk? The Comedian with Bobby D. Not bad some funny bits. That Leslie Mann, hubba hubba.
  8. That Bellicose is a great album, glad I found the original years ago... This one did get a re-iss in 2014: http://www.arkeynsteel.com/metal-store/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=223&category_id=1&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=9999 Its on the Ebay for under $20 bux: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BELLICOSE-Love-On-Ice-Riot-Lethal-Leatherwolf-Fifth-Angel-Queensryche-Private-/222550717731
  9. I refuse to watch that drivel. By the way, check my latest post in the ''Introductions'' category, there's a question for you about your favorite album I will go find it... On topic: Fist Fight Nary a laugh could be mustered within this one. 3 O' Clock High is a FAAAAAAR superior film which is what this film ripped most of its content from, albeit they skewed it to be teachers fighting instead of students. I mean all the way down to the shots of the clock clicking the seconds off, to the teacher enlisting others to fight for him, to planting stuff on the other to get them arrested, to the finale with the swarms of people/students and the underdog actually standing a chance. May as well have just called it a reboot and at least drawn from that pool... Again watch 3 O' Clock High.
  10. Collateral Beauty Goodness, what ever came over me to watch this. Mind numbing comes to mind when describing this POS.
  11. Iron Man guess Kieth and I were in sinc. Monster Trucks if your 11 this is cool as fuck. La La Land oh dear god what absolute drivel. Not a movie but binging on the Scream tv show. Well done and a great amount of money thrown at this one for effects and such.
  12. Boss Baby = Fun and funny stuff. Me and the kids rather enjoyed this. Hellboy II = Not as dark and broody as the first one, but still a fair film. Semi Pro = Digging out a relic from Mr Ferrell. Funny and ridiculous and set in the 70's!
  13. Been a while since I did any pleasure reading but just wrapping up the Sebastian Bach tome 18 and Life on Skid Row. SPOILER: pretty incoherent thoughts with not a lot of substance and the structure is pretty scatter brained at best.
  14. Power Rangers = Quite watchable. Good action, nice and humorous dialogue, thoroughly enjoyed this. John Wick Chapter 2 = Like the first, fun stuff. I really enjoy the whole underworld of hit people theme. Like National Treasure but for hit people.
  15. Fathers day movie binge: Kubo and the 2 Strings = this was real good. The animation is excellent and the story was nice. The Goofy Movie = nostalgia piece for fathers day as both kids LOVED this one when they were littler. Still excellent and enjoyable by the clan. X- Men Origins Wolverine = My daughter loves the superhero films lately and this one was OK. Intro of Deadpool and unless you watch the credits you'll miss the teaser. Sully = Telling docu drama about the pilot that landed the airplane in the Hudson river and the ripping he got for doing it. Tom Hanks and Viggo Mortensen are a good team.
  16. Girl On A Train if you like SVU's in long form you will enjoy this if not avoid. I should have avoided this.
  17. The Accountant = not bad. I wonder if this will get a sequel. Deathgasm - Again! I am very much enjoying this movie!
  18. Thought of watching this but I feel it might be too depressing, hate that You'll be alright. It dabbles into some heavy stuff but all in all it skates around being too heavy or preachy. Reminded me of Mosquito Coast but without all the hyper obsessiveness and CF even incorporates some laughs.
  19. This was nice posted about it last week. And you certainly get to appreciate a LOT more of Vigo in this than some may want too.
  20. Dave, Get them out West you bastage.
  21. And wasn't Shy Boy a Talas song anyways that Sheehan brought to the band?
  22. Rings = why? Behind the Mask The Rise of Leslie Vernon = Fun stuff worth a watch if you like a humorous look at some slasher films. Also introduced the kids to Close Encounters of the Third Kind = Excellent and holds up well for coming out in 1977. We also watched the Peanuts full length film and it is very well done. Great animation and a good story.
  23. Yep this one is a dinger for sure, never forget the day I found it...
