  1. Dear Hard Rock Journalist, we are shameless when it comes to spreading the news, so here's about Julian Angel's Beautiful Beast and their new music video "Bad Boys Never Dance". We love you for sharing the news with our awesome AOR / Melodic Rock / Hair Metal community. # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # Beautiful Beast Video Looks And Sounds Like 1989 In support of their new album 'Kick Down The Barricades' which will hit the shelves on January 24, 2014 German Hair Metal band Julian Angel's Beautiful Beast have just released their new music video "Bad Boys Never Dance". Besides featuring the opening track of the new record the video also presents a pretty clichéd, stereotyped and most of all predictable storyline that any fan of 80s hard rock and hair metal will love. Is it 80s enough for you? Just try for yourself... 2. Still a solid performance by KC, so happy to see both Alex Smith and Peyton Manning doing well after both being unceremoniously dismissed by their former teams.
  3. Cool! Wish my Dad was anything/anyone other than who he is... Especially a musician.
  4. Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters My daughter is a HUGE PJ fan and I must say I have thoroughly enjoyed the books and movies as well.
  5. Grown Ups 2 Meh,, a few courtesy chuckles, but overall could have missed it... Selma Hayak sure is smoking hot however.
  6. I haven't watched this with the kids yet 8 and 6, what do you think? Mine are 7 and 12, my 7 year old son got about 15 minutes in where Gina Davis is holding Alec Baldwins head in hear hand as if she chopped it off and he was out. My daughter (12), watched the rest with me but she said later that she didn't like it, a) "it was a little scary Dad" (and I'd agree some of the special effects are pretty graphic with face pulling off and such) and "that B'juice was really crude, she did not care for how he kept hitting on Gina Davis. Ultimately your call, if I could do it again, I would have previewed it as I did not recall it being that bad, but I have a different standard/threshold than my kids.
  7. Watched Beetlejuice with the kids last night and I forgot that this one is a bit over the top for my kids at least. I also forgot Mike Keaton drops the F bomb in this. I still love it, the kids, not so much...
  8. Nice that is exactly how I would have slapped her arse!
  9. That was a killer video and song, obviously to be expected... What a who's who of b-listers in that video too! Hal Sparks, Joey Fatone?!. Imperative that someone ID that redheaded wig wearing hooker doing the incredible flexibility dance!!
  10. Good stuff! You ladies see the latest offering, "Starship Troopers: Invasion?" It was pretty good. Directed by Shinji Aramaki. If you are an anime fan, that should mean something to you, and you should watch it. The second installment was a waste, not alot of aliens, must have been a budget thing. The third was great as it brought back Casper Van Deen and was equally as tongue and cheek as the first. Now I will have to look into this 4th installment and yes to D. richards, but that redhead who goes sans toppage is much hotter. On topic: The Expendables 2. (SNORE)
  11. Caught that CBGB and even though I am not fluent in that scene and I have read that there are timeline discrepencies I thought it was a good film. Interesting life that guy Hilly must have lived.
  12. Star watching is fun and Jenna has always been pretty frikkin sexy imho...
  13. I hate to admit but my wife has been pounding me with guilt and remorse and more guilt about my cd collecting, she did it with my vhs collection too, which I sold off (fekkin dolt that I am)and my Star Wars toys ( I had a HUGE collection from when I was a kid, also sold). I rarely buy cd's any more as money is tight. She just doesn't get it and see's only $$$ signs. Sure I see $$ signs too, but I sold off everything else that was moderately important to me as to her wishes, but I am having a real difficult time swallowing the thought of no cd's... She is not a collector or has no attachment to possessions. That said I will more than likely have to do some downsizing or who knows what road our relationship will turn down... Sorry for that.
  14. Excellent news! I hope the show and new cd are well received.
  15. We have talked bout this band before and I LOVE the song and quite honestly, the entire album is great! So maybe I am biased too...
  16. Cool beans on the new addition! Wow, that guy is teeny weeny... Glad to hear all is well though! And you are absolutely right about buying cd's, the misses will realize that money could/should be used for anything else but cd's now that she's a mum.
  17. Went with Blizzard as this was my introduction to Ozzy as a solo act and Steal Away the Night and No Bone Movies are 2 songs that are VERY hard to surpass... Diary is a close second with SATO, Little Dolls and Tonight.
  18. This is classic, with MANY great one liners... "Wolfman's got nards!" On topic: Killing Them Softly. VERY uneventful.
  19. Thanks man and I concur 20 is an eternity and I am grateful for all of them! They were great! And for the fed stuff, I can't believe we haven't started a thread on this yet as the health care stuff will greatly affect everyone, even after the furlough is over and I get back to work... Yeah I try to stay away from the political shit, seeing that I believe they are all the same, posting anything politcal in here is bound to get me banned!! he he That would be

  21. your not she is quite pleasant visually, however, not that i am too gay, but Nathan Fillian steals the show Erm ... and you're sure about that? I said too...
