  1. Thanks man and I concur 20 is an eternity and I am grateful for all of them! They were great! And for the fed stuff, I can't believe we haven't started a thread on this yet as the health care stuff will greatly affect everyone, even after the furlough is over and I get back to work...
  2. Quite the wordsmith there pal... We did the later too, but after the long drive to and from from the vet, we had to have Bob euthanized as I could not watch him lie there and not move or eat or anything any longer, just to brutal to watch, it was pretty dark and raining so we were rather speedy with the burial. We have "visited" him every day so far and since we can see the spot from the window, I check on him regularly. Thanks for the kind words and of course many sad smiley's your way on your kitties departure.
  3. Wow, you mean someone actually saw this besides me? Haha. Yeah, now that you mention it, I saw Steve Garvey's name in the credits but I didn't catch him in the movie... I must've blinked. Seriously, there were quite a few "name" actors in this flick (or at least, actors who used to be "names" anyway...) ... it makes me wonder if they all owed a favor to someone involved with the production, what are the odds that all of these people would end up in the same crappy movie together?? If you wanna re-visit this one, Terry, I found it on a 12-pack of cheap horror movies at the local Rite Aid called "Fright Fest" ... I think I paid 5.99 for the set. Fifty cents a movie? Can't beat that with a stick. Good to know Keith, I actually think I have the VHS somewhere...I know I bought it years ago as like I mentioned Andrea Evans is in it I had a monster crush on that One Life To Live hottie.
  4. your not she is quite pleasant visually, however, not that i am too gay, but Nathan Fillian steals the show
  5. Thanks man, sorry to hear of your recent loss as well... Still very sad around here. I actually thought I heard his old Siamese meow early this morning...
  6. This is a good one! Andrea Evans is a freaking smoking hot red head and if memory serves Steve Garvey is in this too.
  7. Well last night was the worst and saddest night in the Martinson families current history. Not only are we being forced by the "banana Republicans" to live off nothing because of their desire to posture for the 2016 presidential elections by taking my job away, what the f@$k is "non-essential" anyway!?, but we had to say goodbye to my longest standing bestest buddy in the whole world... Last night at around 6 pm I had to take my 20 year old kitty "Robert B'Adger Woofynose" aka Bob the Cat, aka Bob, on his last car ride. He was a great great friend and the best buddy I ever had. Hell, I've been with him longer than my wife. The whole family was crushed and it was horrible for me on many levels. Rest in peace my little buddy, you were the best cat ever and we will miss you!
  8. Aaaah Zombies! Fairly funny twist on the zombie movie, taken from the perspective that the zombies think they are normal and everyone else is infected...
  9. Best of luck with this... Not to steal your thunder here, but I'm currently on furlough out west as I am an "unessential" federal employee...
  10. The other night I was watching this show called "Bar Rescue", its like that hotel saving show, where this dude comes and rehabs your piddly bar and makes it cool, ANYWAY, the bar in question was in Ohio and the big send off/re-opening had Halestorm play there and it was SO cool. She had her destroyer slung way low and was wearing a yellow striped spandex jump suit... YUMMY all around! Here it is (crowd shot/not so great quality): and the actual episode Band starts around 5:30 mark):
  11. You want to read 'Watch You Bleed - The Saga Of Guns n' Roses', or, rather, you don't ... it's full of mistakes (how hard can it be to check who plays what in KISS, for example?) It amazes me that such a book would get published. Although I suppose that's similar to terrible albums being released by record labels. If it meets the bill of what they're after at the time, it'll do, regardless of quality, or in the book's case, veracity. Maybe we should write a biography of GnR as well. I'll start: "Axl and Slash both attended Smethwick Green Comprehensive School in Birmingham, where they shared a love of cricket and Shakespearean sonnets. When they first met, in Mr Bastard's detention for late submission of Geography homework, they can have had no idea that number one albums, world tours, knighthoods and guest appearances on 'Coronation Street' were to follow in a few short years. Of course, they were then known by their original names, Barry Borthwicke and Alessandro Montelimar..." Even then, Axl's ego had assumed gigantic proportions, and had already taken over the captaincy of the cricket team. After de-selecting the entire team and replacing them with an increasingly bizarre choice of replacements (including an opening batsman who wore a McDonald's Happy Meal box around his nether regions), Axl went on to tour the world replaying the finest games from the team's past in the hope that spectators would be fooled into thinking they were watching something of substance and worth ...

    NFL 2013

Seahawks look real good! And agree on the steelers and Haley... But OMG what was that tripping call on Monday night!?!? If that shit call didn't change the outcome of the game.
  13. Recently finished the Yngwie J Malmsteen book Relentless. Not bad, I did not like however how he referred to Spinal Tap mentioning him in their movie....c'mon Yngwie it was in a music video not the movie, doesn't anyone fact check anything anymore.
  14. Just turned 45 in July... Your catching up Stefan.
  15. I am so apprehensive about this as the book was so good and unique. Recently: Prometheus & Argo I like Prometheus better.
  16. Caught Swingers again the other night for the first time in many years and I tell its still money baby.
  17. Some moderately appealing kid flix: Planes and The Croods. The Croods was way better than Planes, but both were rip offs of other films from there namesakes, Planes=Cars and Croods=Ice Age... Also caught 976-Evil and Chasing Amy on one of the cable movie chanels last night, both are still great!
  18. What happened with Bale? He was the next best Batman next to Keaton.
  19. Dud: VHS. Why do I still keep hoping for something good from indie horror? This Is The End: this was really flipping good! 2 kiddie goodies: Turbo an Monster University. Both are excelent.
  20. Good to see you back Nelson. We should do some trading again.
