Love this track and many other Loverboy/Mike Reno tracks. One question I've always had about the title "Working For The Weekend" is, does it mean working over the weekend or does it mean working Monday to Friday "for the weekend"? I'm still not sure.

Bon Jovi - The Boys Are Back in Town. From the "Navy Seals" soundtrack apparently. I don't think I was aware of this. Not as good as the original though.

Another great poll! Thanks mate. I'm enjoying these. Keep 'em coming. -

Great poll. Thanks for taking the time to create it mate. -
One of my favourite Kelly Hansen tracks. KILLER!

What type of CD collector are you?
Darkstone replied to Jimbo's topic in Music Polls and "Best of" Lists
There was a time when I was a record/cassette collector, then I became a CD collector, now I consider myself a music collector, I guess. I'm with Glen regarding the convenience of digital music. Having said that, I'm not interested in Spotify, itunes, etc. I still need to "own" my music. There was a time when I absolutely had to have the CD for the reasons stated above. Artwork, liner notes, etc, but I'm over that now. As for the thrill of discovering CDs in the old days, I find that I still get that thrill when discovering new/old stuff. The only difference now is that I can instantly hear it and obtain it. Then theres the whole storage and fear of damage factor. I hope you have a backup of all your CDs, or at least a hard copy list. -
A bit of a random poll. I love all three bands.

Alice Cooper - Trash Vs. Hey Stoopid
Darkstone replied to heaven&hell's topic in Music Polls and "Best of" Lists
Love 'em both, but it's definitely "Hey Stoopid" for me. -
Here's four from "The Cult". I was listening to "Pure Cult" today. Another band that's hard to define, but definitely Hard Rock. Sleaze possibility? I really love these guys. It was hard to limit it to four.

Sahaj Ticotin (Ra) covers "The Mission" by Queensryche

Stunning! Thanks for the post mate. Imagine being able to pick up an acoustic guitar and pulling that out, not to mention the vocals. I really enjoyed that. -
Jet Set Junkies (Paul Laine/Lee Revill) - Up

Can't wait. -
It's not like that at all mate. The recent "Leykisgate" drama is the first time I've experienced any softcock behavior on this site.

This may be controversial, but I think "nyoilers" deserves an accurate post count. Don't get me wrong, I despise the guy just as much as anyone, but credit where credit's due. He's put in the hard yards.

100% agree! I love being able to cross reference individual artists. I've discovered many gems by doing that. When I first joined I posted about half a dozen comments as a right of passage, but that's about it. Having said that, it really annoys me when I see an album page with no comments, but several ratings. If you're gonna take the time to post a rating, then leave a comment ffs. There's so many great posters on the main site. I'm still not sure why most of them don't participate in the forum. Again, I realize that I don't participate in the main site either, so I guess it's always gonna be a tale of two sites.

I guess I should put my upcoming topic, "Abortion yes or no?" on the back burner.

Bitch. I was reminded today of the original Meredith Brooks version, which in turn, reminded me of the far superior Aussie version.

Yeah, one of the shining lights in the wasteland for our music that was '97.

I was never into these guys, but the video for "Buddy Holly" is pretty cool.

Three "Pretty Maids" crackers from an absolute cracker of an album.

My apologies Sir. I misinterpreted your comment. I agree, her accent would be better if she was choking on my gherkin also. Although, in my case of course, it would be a cucumber.

A new mini doco from this guy. This time RATT gets the treatment. It's a good one. -
I think you meant "choking MY gherkin". Choking ON gherkin, has a completely different meaning. Not that there's anything wrong with that. You do you, brother.

"Video Unavailable". A very well kept secret indeed.

Tony Harnell + Magnus Karlsson = pure quality.

Here's an interesting one. The 2021 Eurovision winner from Italy. Non English lyrics unfortunately, which is a dealbreaker for me, but it's still a great track. Musically, IMHO, I would definitely classify this as Sleaze.
