  1. Interesting, I always thought the purple one was the original.
  2. The Drummer on the right is the tastiest. Followed closely by the red haired Lead Guitarist.
  3. Babylon AD - Slave Your Body. I really, really, really love this track!!! "Stick a needle in my face honey, I still love ya".
  4. I love these guys. I haven't included anything from "Rise" because I'm not as familiar with it as their previous work. This is a selection of my favourite tracks from their earlier albums. A bit of a "Gnostic" theme to their lyrics and artwork, which I always love. Three of these tracks are covers BTW. It's a bloody hard choice, but I think "Through the Years" is my favourite.
  5. I just checked the main site and there's the cover that's featured in the clips, a purple one and a blue one. I didn't know there were three alternate covers. Interesting.
  6. I'm guessing you also have the purple cover.
  7. XYZ - Face Down In the Gutter. I'm not sure if you could class XYZ as a Sleaze band. They sort of straddle that line between Sleaze and Melodic Hard Rock, much like Babylon AD and Steelheart. Having said that, this is most certainly a Sleaze track and possibly the best one ever!
  8. Another no skip album as far as i'm concerned. I remember getting this one when it was released. Knew nothing about them. I have the purple cover so I at least knew that they looked the part and when I saw that Pat Torpey was on drums jt sealed the deal. There was a great little independent cd store that specialized in our music and they used to let you listen to the albums before purchase. I looked at the track listing and played "Love is Dangerous". I didn’t even get to the chorus before stopping and purchasing the album immediately. I just knew from that minute or so that this was quality. I was vindicated when I got home and listened to the whole thing.
  9. I don't care about fair, I just want to see the bikinis and oil.

Not good. I hope you're recovering now mate. Stay safe. I know it must be hard to perform your usual duties with Cody and Geoff whilst wearing a mask.....just cut a round hole in it.
  11. Yeah, its theme is timeless also. Quite poignant now actually.
  12. They're my four favourites too, BTW.
  13. I'm glad they didn't actually. I love "Battle Stations", but I don't think it would have been a good fit for this album.
  14. Darkh - My Curse. From a great album released in 2016.
  15. Thanks for posting mate. Music's great, but I can't get past the Rollins factor. Overrated douche, even as an actor.
  16. Holy shit! Thanks for the "like" Dirk! Great to see you here mate!
  17. Great list as usual guys. I know it's impossible to keep up with everything and the amount of albums you guys are on top of is incredible, but I was surprised to see that "Hittman - Destroy All Humans" didn't get a mention. Not even in anyone's "also rans" list.
  18. Spy vs. Spy - A.O. Mod. An Aussie track from '86. At the time these guys were touted as the next big thing down here, but they achieved nothing. I was never into them, but I did love this basically instrumental track, which was probably their biggest hit and catchy as fuck. I'm sure Doggy remembers these guys. On a side note regarding their name, I used to have a collection of around 200 "MAD" magazines that I'd started collecting from when I was about 10, including vintage 60s and early 70s stuff. I regrettably sold them in my early twenties for fuck all.
  19. Crashdiet - Native Nature. I had to include one of my alltime favourites in this thread.
  20. Another album l can play from start to finish, no skips, no probs. "Spooky" is my favourite, with "Water From the Moon" not too far behind and a special mention to the solo in "Big House". The last clip isn't from this album, but I had to include it on account of it's brilliance.
  21. Great news! I wasn't expecting it this early. Thanks to all who contributed.
  22. Yeah, I wouldn't even bother with major Retail/Department stores, not in Australia at least. Even back in the glory days it wasn't easy getting our type of stuff in those places.
