  1. This shit is really getting ridiculous.
  2. I would've thought that even if there were thousands of copies of a rare CD, it wouldn't detract from the rarity or value of the original. Isn't that the whole point of collecting physical CDs? If not, then you all may as well embrace digital.
  3. Lesbian Bed Death - Give 'Em The Axe. Going thru the archives, I had to bump this one from "martinsane". Great band. The Lead Singer is just skanky enough to be hot.
  4. Home Free - Man of Constant Sorrow. Those of you who have seen "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" will be familiar with this track by the "Soggy Bottom Boys". I love this old, old school Country/Folk stuff. These guys are an A cappella group BTW. Vocals, Beats and Harmonica. Just as a post script, it seems that the bitches really love a deep voice. I happen to wear a hat like the lead singer, as Doggy will confirm. My normal voice is deep-ish, but I do have massive balls, so I could make it deeper.
  5. Yeah, I was well aware of who Jeff Lynne was and although ELO were huge, I don't necessarily think that he was that well known personally.
  6. If that's the standard, then "The Traveling Wilburys" probably come the closest off the top of my head. Although, I'm not sure if Jeff Lynne could be considered a "household name".
  7. Warrant - April 2031. It struck me today that this is only 10 years away. Where can I get an aluminum pillow?
  8. It's laughable. I don't want the vaccine, but I can fully understand and respect those who do. To think of the massive effort involved with Research, Manufacturing and Distribution, to then have it all compromised at the very end with the easiest part of the process, actually Administering the bloody thing.
  9. Yeah, I checked and it's from "Romy and Michele's High School reunion", 1997. That whole soundtrack is filled with 80's hits. It's a possibility. Their first choice was an 80's song from a 90's movie, so It just depends on how often they go to that 80s well.
  10. Sounds great, but aren't most Frontiers releases "Super Groups"? That term gets splashed around quite a bit.
  11. Midnight Blue - Surrender. This album was a beacon of light back in our music's dark days of '94. "Sing me a song, my Son".
  12. Okay, the new "season" is under way. What do you guys think? I would love it if we could collectively guess them all.
  13. HIM - Wicked Game. I've posted this before. A great example of what a cover should be. BTW, the original featured on the movie soundtrack of the 1990 film "Wild at Heart". Could be an "At the Movies" contender.
  14. This has made my day! Thanks for the heads up Alpha!
  15. Only Aussies will be familiar with this one. It was a huge disappointment at the time. During the 70s "Skyhooks" was a massive Australian band. Pure Glam/Pop, although they could be quite edgy at times. I think they may have had a couple of songs banned. The first four clips are from the mid 70s when they were in their prime. However, in 1990 they reunited for an eagerly anticipated comeback album and tour. The final clip is the single (Jukebox in Siberia) from that album. It was very, very bad.
  16. Yeah, it's not a bad album. The problem with comebacks or reunions is that expectations are high, sometimes maybe too high.
  17. They've done well with this concept. I really enjoy seeing which track they do next. I called this one BTW.
  18. Sadly, it's a very common thing. I know it must be hard to recapture the early magic, but I think a lot of these comebacks are just cash grabs unfortunately. Off the top of my head, Steelheart, Riverdogs, Giant, Lynch Mob , Tyketto, Hericane Alice, to name a few. Although, the recent "Hittman" album shows that they can sometimes be a triumph.
  19. Um, if you've been vaccinated, what would wearing a mask be protecting other people from?
  20. Unruly Child - Do You Ever Think of Me. Unruly Child - Forever × 2. "Unruly Child" is Marcie Free's baby, but the "Waiting for the Sun" album featuring Kelly Hansen is an absolute killer. I've posted both Kelly's and Marcie's version of "Forever". Production aside, I don't know which one is better.
  21. Bear in mind, the iguana is a hatchling. Been on this Planet for about a minute. What a wonderful World we live in.

    Corona

Being in hospital over Christmas and New Years is rough. Take care mate.
  23. Witness - Show Me What You Got. Witness - When it Comes From the Heart. Here's two from a beyond killer album! Female Fronted Melodic Hard Rock at it's best from '88.
  24. It's got absolutely nothing to do with Trump or this particular vaccine. In my case anyway.
