  1. Of his many releases, I think "Demon Drive - Burn Rubber" is my favourite.
  2. Judging by their album covers, I'm guessing it's a reference to the Aztec/Mayan/Meso American ritual ball game. I have no idea why a band from Finland would choose this imagery.
  3. Yeah, a Classic. "Back to the Wall" and "Don't Talk About Love" are killers. Always been a fan of Michael Voss and his many projects. His stuff can be a bit hit or miss at times, but when he's good, he's very good.
  4. Well there you go. I didn't notice that. Great minds...
  5. Another Monster from the good old days. I first heard of these guys when I was reading a letter in the mail section of Metal Edge. It was on the titles list of an Aussie mail order company at time called "Raggamuffin Records". I knew nothing about them, but the letter was positive and I loved the name. The day it arrived there were a few mates at my place, all into this music. I'll never forget the look of disbelief and envy when "Play Dirty" started. It was beautiful. They may not be all killers on this album, but the ones that are killers are Fucking beasts! "Play Dirty", "Bad Reputation" and "Come Play the Game" are MHR perfection. The follow up album isn't too shabby either, but not in the same League as this.
  6. Very, very close call, but I think I agree.
  7. Okay, this one is not only a no skip album, this is a no skip repeat album. The best "Super Group" of our music ever? If not, they come close. I remember like it was yesterday when I first heard "Crash N' Burn". This album is like a time machine for me and epitomizes the feel of the era, IMO. I love George Lynch, but I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall when he first heard this album.
  8. Tango Down - All Fall Down. Phil Naro - Heartbreak in the Night. A couple of my favourites featuring Phil Naro.
  9. Another one from that magical year of 1991. I was 19 at the time. I feel so blessed to have been into this music during that Golden age. This one was big with myself and my mates. In my top ten I reckon. I can easily listen to this one with no skips and my GOD, what an intro! I love the whole album, but I really love "Angel in Black", "She Can't Stop", "Just One Night", "All or Nothin" and "Loaded Gun". This is David Reece's best work for mine. Great artwork too!
  10. Why is line 10 different in the video? Is that a hint of PC from Mr. MacDonald?
  11. Here's the trailer for the long awaited sequel to "Coming to America" titled "Coming 2 America". The first one was a classic. One of my favourite movies back in the day and it's great to see the old barber shop guys back. So many funny moments in the original. Two words...."Sexual Chocolate". I do have one question though. Why is there not a huge public and media outcry about Eddie Murphy in "white face" when portraying "Saul", the elderly white Jewish guy?
  12. "Intruducing Dear Instinct". Here's a link to an interview with Tommy Vucur regarding his latest project with fellow ex "Vanishing Point" member, Jake Lowe. Looks like there could be a full release later in the year. It's good stuff. Worth keeping an eye on. As the website says in it's motto, it's "Heavy Metal for grown ups". https://sentineldaily.com.au/introducing-dear-instinct/
  13. We've had a fair bit of heated discussion regarding politics recently and religion pops up from time to time, but this is possibly the most controversial post I've read since I've been on this forum.
  14. I have to admit, the non English comments are very annoying, especially since it states that comments are to be made in English only. Although, I guess the non English speaking members might not be able to read that.
  15. Interesting. I didn't know about the Highlander II thing.
  16. Hush - Bony Moronie. A very, very early Aussie Glam track from 1975. CTS and Geoff might not remember this one, but I bet Doggy does. I was only three when this was released, but it was very popular at the time and this clip is one of those early music memories of mine. As cheesy as fuck, but hey, it's 1975.
  17. Another monster of "our" music. This one also dropped in that '91 sweet spot. Huge memories for me, unfortunately one of those memories was the fact that from purchase, my CD skipped repeatedly halfway through "What Would it Take". It's all good now, but it was years before I could enjoy that track without interruption. You can't get more of a "Super Group" than this. Pure class. I also think that this is extremely underrated. Not by us, but I reckon there would be many "Foriegner" fans that wouldn't even know this existed.
  18. This isn't my thread, but you've just answered my question. I'll have to check it out.
  19. This was my first taste of JH and just the time and memories makes me a little bias I guess. I still stand by my comment.
  20. I know what you're saying. I used to refer to Mark Free for the earlier stuff. It's a minefield and I wouldn't bother for all examples, but this chick has earned my respect.
  21. A couple of fairly recent ones that I love.
