  1. Was hoping rot a VH cover, instead I got bubblegum 80's pop...
  2. Yeah I agree, I got 9 keepers off Tunguska, only 6 off Cour De Grace.
  3. All bands are made up of members from former bands. Not sure I would class Mr Big as a supergroup. My first thought was Damn Yankees. Slash did some great stuff. Also wouldn't class Sammy Hagar's post VH groups as supergroups. Except Chickenfoot who ironically I don't rate nearly as much as the Wabos etc Sixx AM?
  4. For me DLR solo stuff shits all over anything he did with VH At the time, Live To Win was far better than anything Kiss were doing. Sammy did some kilelr stuff post VH Jimmy Barnes solo is orbably considered as good as Cold Chisel by most
  5. For me, I always come back to Detroit Rock City. Probably not really considered by most, but it's stuck with me always.
  6. Not a huge fan of their older stuff, but this latest album is very good. This song is great...
  7. just start one Alpha. Doesn't have to necessarily be linked to this, or be labelled HH FB etc
  8. Nah, I mean what's the point having an issue? Can't control it or change it, but yes, the govt should stay away from commercial concerts unless there are some $$$ to make by them. On a lighter note, anyone hear Seb Bach trying to sing some Skid Row songs today? Came up in my Facebook feed and was Vince Neilesque...
  9. It's at the MCG, one of the largest stadiums in the world. Holds 100,000 people. At a GNR concert, maybe 60 to 70,000 I got tickets and realised how stoopid I was to see a show there when i sat down so far away from the stage the guys may as well have been stick figures. Huge TV's were all you could look at. Luckily my view was obscured so we got moved to some great seats, probably in the premium section. But I'll never go to a show there again, even if it's free. Waste of time
  10. Never ever really tried Lynch Mob I am pretty sure. When I heard him with Warrant, for me, it was the first time I'd heard him sing (probably) Many people hang on to the past - refuse to listen to Skid Row without Bach, etc I am generally able to go in with a clean slate and thought what Warrant did on Rockaholic was incredible.
  11. I'm hoping you know what I like, so I'll give them a go. That said, often you are bewildered at what I like
  12. Maybe I'll just do the best of. Not really a fan of either Halloween or Stratovaius, which is probably why I struggled getting into Crystal Ball.
  13. What is considered their best album?
  14. I mean, people are gonna hate mine probably... Albums- 1. Cherry Pie 2. DRFSR 3. Belly To Belly 4. Rockaholic Songs- 1. Stronger Now 2. Sad Theresa 3. I Saw Red 4. Cherry Pie 5. Letter To A Friend 6. Home 7. Inside Out 8. Let It Rain 9. Chameleon 10. Life's A Song 11. Heaven 12. High 13. Sometimes She Cries 14. April 2031 15. Uncle Tom's Cabin
  15. I saved 4 songs of Secrets. No idea how many albums they've had, or which are the better ones.
  16. Time To Let You Go is the best Enuff Z Nuff song
  17. 100% . . . . . 100% passionately disagree with everything you said Bed of Roses and Mr Rainmaker are average songs and would have done nothing if released as singles first. I Saw Red and Blind Faith are killer songs and did exactly what they should have done.
  18. Never going to rival the original, but not too bad. Possibly appeal to a larger section of the public, and certainly appropriate for what's going on at the moment around the world.
  19. Not really. Never been a fan of heavy synth, especially syrupy synth. But then VH brought a bit in with Sammy and I was a fan. Depends how it's done. When I started listening to this album I thought I'd made a mistukake. But as I said before, I don't recall it flowing through all the songs and on a second listen some have little or no annoying synth. Good songs are good songs, even ones with synth. Just takes me a whiole to get into them. Guffria is a good example.
  20. Does it really matter? It's just live stuff. Brings in the dollars, and he can buy food, or a car, or whatever. He obviously can do the songs some kind of justice. Looks like bad taste, but EVH died over a year ago. Not sure how long he was planning to do this regardless. I'd probably see the show it it was on, but it would just be another cover band. Not sure why everyone is getting all worked up...
  21. YEah the 'phat ass' Apparently highly desirable these days, thanks to Kardashians etc I'm not a fan. A nice tight ass for me.
