  1. Hot here in London and I f*ckin' hate it. Wanna swap locations til, say, October? Oh mate, how this amplifies what a freak you are! Ladiez, music and now weather. You're 0 from 3. I seriously cannot fathom people who think it's fun or nice to be f*cking cold. It is the most miserable feeling on earth. It's a true c*nt of a season and as I've said a billion times, if I had the money I would NEVER experience winter or cold ever again in my life. HATE it. It's not that I like being cold, I just hate feeling hot. Hate it more than anything else, it makes me feel so uncomfortable. I know most people love the heat, good for them, I'm glad it makes them happy. For me, it's torture. I agree, I don't HATE summer, because I like swimming in pools and water parks etc., but I hate sweating for no reason it is just a shitty feeling!
  2. Looks good, sounds good. A little throw back to the late 80's videos!
  3. I just so the Avengers on Wednesday for $6.50, no 3d shit. I liked it. Batman looks pretty good, Spiderman-saw the trailer on line and did not think it looked that great, but saw tha trailer on tv and at the theater and thought it looked better. I have all the superhero/comic book movies on dvd, ijust think that they are highly entertaining, plus I have a 6 and 4 year old (boys) who I think will like these movies when they get a little older.
  4. I was listening to some old samples from these guys(because I don't own anything from these guys), but these guys remind me of L.A. Guns a little bit in the music and melodies.
  5. Excellent album, their last really good one IMO I agree, but I did like about half of Promise Land.
  6. There are samples on Amazon UK. I like what I hear!
  7. I gave it a mixed review and I played all 3 Sunstorm discs at the weekend and this was easily the weakest. A few highlights, and there was barely a filler on it, but the overall standard of everything: vocals, song quality, production had all dropped by a notch IMO. Decent, and worth getting, but about a 7.5/10 at best from me... Interesting comments. I'll probably download a couple of tunes from this one. From what I've listened to, the songs sound better that those on the new Hardline album, which seems to be getting a far better response. Mmm, there are 4 or 5 songs on Hardline better than this IMO. For me the debut sunstorm is the best. Yep the Hardline is better IMO. There is no doubt that the hardline is better than Sunstorm, but I love that new Sunstorm!
  8. Agreed, Sahara is my fav HOL album as well. I love their cover of "Can't Find My Way Home". The debut is fantastic but I would put Sahara at the top. Finally someone else that has good taste like me! I've been talking up Sahara for years and most around here seem to think it's weak when compared to the debut and Demons Down. I also love that cover of "Can't Find My Way Home" and "Remember My Name" has to be one of the best ballad ever and loved that video back in the day when it was on dial MTV. Plus Doug Aldrich played on this album although I've never been sure which songs he played on. Demons Down is an excellent album as well but Sahara has always been my fav. The debut may have been softer, but the debut had 'Edge of Your Life' and 'Hearts of the World', 2 of my absolute favourite rock songs of all time. Nothing House of Lords (or most other bands) have done since gets anywhere near the perfection of these 2 songs for me. Picking which of the first 3 albums by HOL is best is like picking between Megan Fox, Mila Kunis and Scarlett Johanssen. All are various shades of awesomeness. Good one!
  9. The first 3 songs are awesome, but to me there are at least 5 others that are equally awesome!
  10. I agree! You are most certainly wrong, fortunately. I don't believe there is a filler anywhere on this album. Each time I listen to this it just grows stronger. Mate if this is as good as Double Eclipse I will be a happy bunny indeed.
  11. I make mixes on my ipod, so a lot of the old bands that you guys have mentioned still get regular play from me! I'm a die hard and love all those bands that I grew up with.
  12. Yes, good song. And yes that line got to me to.
  13. I agree, except I rate Demons down-1, Sahara-2, then S/T-3
  14. Backed. As for me I can't stand a the post Seventh Son Iron Maiden. The 90's albums IMO weren't of the standard of the previous ones but again IMO, Brave New World and A Matter Of Life And Death were really excellent, especially the latter. I still love the new Maiden stuff and Brave New World is in my top 5 Maiden albums. No Prayer was a let down and Fear of the Dark had some great songs but several crap songs and the less said about the Blaze era the better. I still give the "Blaze" albums a play now and then but his voice is just poor, quite like some of the songs but not classic Maiden! A few of the Blaze songs would sound really good with Bruce on vocals!
  15. Like you, I did not care for the first 2 cds. BUT, this one is so awesome,in my top 3 of the year so far.
  16. Yes, I really wanted to like this. But just a couple of ok songs for me. Listening to this right now, and this is who then sound like to me. The hard rock side of HELLOWEEN rather than the Melodic metal side.
  17. Great song from their best album Yeah, it's a very good album. I think I prefer 'Red, Hot & Heavy', but this would be my 2nd favourite of theirs. Lol, RH&H would probably be my least favourite. Spooked & Pandemonium would prob be nos 2 & 3 Wow, I don't think it gets much better than the title track and 'A Place in the Night', 2 of my top 3 or 4 Pretty Maids songs. Oh dear...the actual song RH&H is the biggest filler I ever heard, and just sounds embarrassing live now....God knows why they still close their set with it, when they have so many better songs now??! Do you realise that when we saw them at FF, they played that song over ones like 'Dont Settle For Less' or 'Partners In Crime'.....the mind boggles. Typical European mind set though...they still think that people like droning metal over melodic bliss. Just ask Jorn Agree!
