  1. We can not forget Cockroach! I f'in LOVE that cd!!!
  2. I think all of the songs on 'Screw It' are worse than all of the songs on the debut. The only ones that are close are 'Monkey Business' and 'Beat The Bullet'; maybe they could have been b-sides at the time of the debut. All of the other songs on 'Screw It' I think are massively disappointing compared to the standard set by the first album. It's all about the tunes - there are some great tunes on the debut, whereas to me the tunes on the follow-up sound like they could have been written by five-year-olds. Time to run and hide now, methinks. Yes! run fast ,hide deep!!!
  3. I totally agree with 66 mustang. Every song on the S/T was good. Screw It had about 5 of their best songs ever on it but several really bad ones. If those bad ones were replaced with good songs then Screw It would hands down be their best ever. But that's my point, 5 awesome songs is all it takes to make an album stand out. I agree the s/t is great(how can you not love it), but I find that I listen to those 5 songs more than I listen to the debut.
  4. How did they not make it huge with this album?!
  5. Wow. When it came to the Dr or Detonator, I basically closed my eyes and clicked. Way to hard!
  6. Way too hard for me! One of my favorite bands.
  7. Way to hard. On any given day I could be cranking out one of these bands, and it could last for days!
  8. There was a message on here a day or two ago from John Kivel, saying that it is almost ready to go.
  9. Me too man. I even tried to listen to "Now In The New Frontier" and I thought I was going to puke. Even "Operation:Mindcrime 2" sucks balls. I somewhat disagree, I like about 4 songs on Promised Land That make it on a Queensryche compilation.
  10. Dave's score is 80%.....just for the record. ;-) 80% sounds about right. It has 8 brilliant tracks, 3 average (6,8 and 9) and one really poor track....we know which one that is. At the years end I'm sure this one will be surpassed by the new Eclipse, new Vega and certainly the H.E.A.T. and those are just the top melodic rock releases. They remind me of White Widdow, excellent yet just falling a bit short of being the cream at the top. 2012 is a strange one, not many great melodic releases, but lots of other types that are rounding out the year quite nicely. You forget WET ! My most anticipated release of 2012!! Eclipse & Vega should also be excellent! What about Crashdiet - any news on them?? Getting wet over WET is a definite yes. Only 5 left months in 2012, not sure WET can pull it off in time. JSS released his solo ealier this year and Erik Martensson has the new Eclipse coming out in late September. Something tells me the new WET might be pushed back to 2013....unless it's already all done and just waiting to be released. definite 2012 as far as i am aware I still can't wait for Tango Down, Hess,James Christian,Eclipse and W.E.T.
  11. I've watched every one , I think 3 or 4 so far and while I don't think it's a great show, it is not bad at all.
  12. Sounds really good. I can't wait to find this, if the rest is as good!
  13. Both are awesome!! HEAT~ Adress the Nation Wow. Jeff was right. This kicks some serious ASS!!! Love all 3!
