Most of the tracks miss the mark for me but the 3 or 4 that are good are fkn great!

If you're not into Queen don't bother as you won't like him. I love Queen and Robby Valentine and I'd recommend picking up s/T and then taking it from there. Every release imo gets a little worse and I haven't found much to like in the last 2 or 3. Funnily enough I'm excited about this release. Jez, unlike you I haven't liked the Queen tribute albums by Robby. Why do u like them so?

I picked up the recent live cd released by Angra, popped it in the car on the way home and was perplexed whilst listening to wondering who the hell was singing. Yep, I'm out of the music news loop these days. Anyone know of why Edu left? My issue is that I live Angra, both era's and all cds... Obviously some better than others. On the flipside I've never really been a fan of Fabio. Sure his singing style suites rhapsody and I don't mind a few songs but I think he's a terrible fit for Angra! Anyone agree, disagree?

I'm with Peter on this. Great CD, definitely one of the top 3 of the year. It's heavy, melodic, catchy and a little bit different but oh so cool the entire time. Pick up the deluxe edition for addrelease that has all of the reanimate (vol. 1 - impossible or very expensive to get now) tracks with the exception of welcome to the jungle. Or just grab the regular CD, you won't be disappointed!

I might have missed a few of your posts but I thought you were going digital? I guess not Japanese pressings can be better in that they can often contain some bonus tracks. For example the Dynazty and Steel Panther CDs that Mullethead got both have a bonus track. Great haul btw!!!

Agreed, sad news but I like them all even though the releases did start dropping in quality.....every album has some great tracks and no doubt we'll gets lots more kickass tunes from ther various new bands amd projects.

No doubt in my mind if you've checked out his solo stuff.

What's everyone's pics of the new TV series? Mine so far is True Detective. Every episode so far has been great and the leads are very good! Worth checking it out if you like cop thrillers, killers etc.

Watched the first 15mins of the pilot and then deleted it! It was dreadful.... but that's not to say it doesn't get better!

I LOVED the first 2 CDs, especially the debut. Quality has continued to drop since then IMO. Don't pay much attention to them these days.

Am hoping for big things but a bit of a shame there is no producer, always felt they needed someone to polish things up a bit to get the most out of the songs. I hope they prove me wrong and am keen to get a heavier album!
