  1. At least you've got the best ones so far.
  2. with some pretty strange albums. I agree with that...not very consistent in style.
  3. I can't stand Subway's "5 dollar, 5 DOLLAR FOOT LONGS!"
  4. I'm hanging sheet rock today. Fuck, I hate sheet rock.
  5. Hmmm, maybe. The clips are short but does give a person an idea. 13 tracks. I wish some bands would write 6 really kick ass tracks instead of 1 or 2 kick ass tracks and 10 fillers. And why is 13 called a Bonus Track? What makes a track a "Bonus"? The first 1,000 copies produced have it? The number that comes after 12 is a bonus? The band choose 12 tracks but the record company put 13? I wonder what's up with that. Anyway, we'll see.
  6. Do you think when a shark that size jumps out of the water the sea level goes down?
  7. I got 30 seconds into it. Amazing playing but I can't watch anymore. Maybe later I'll just try listening because yeah, twisted.
  8. I think it says "To Yoda, Semen...Yay!" meaning he is actually a Jedi she.
  9. Damn, 29,000 posts....the Crazy Horse memorial will be done before I get anywhere near 10,000 posts.
  10. Oh and thanks Wes for this thread that got me to check out their My Space page which got me out to Kivel to order some cd's. I knew the Farcry would be great and so far I'm really diggin' the first half of Bombay Black's Mercy. I hope to start spinnin' this one front to back completely in the next few weeks.
  11. I found Vixen's Tangerine in a pawn shop recently. Glad I only wasted $1.50 on this one. In a word, "boring".
  12. Ok, I've been spinning this CD steady since it arrived 1-2 weeks ago. I agree with Wes, this is a kick ass CD overall. Of the 11 songs there are 5 that I can't stop playing: Empty Hole I Can't Wait I'm Done Lovin' You The Light Waiting For You Each of these songs are great rock tunes in the 80's hard rock style. They would have fit right in with Dokken, Bon Jovi, Skid Row, etc. back in the good ol' days. Big choruses, great guitar work and attention to detail on everything from the solo's to the backing vocals. Good production and great inserts, with a booklet containing lyrics, band pics and credits. The other songs are pretty damn good as well. Radio, Step By Step, and I Wanna are good rockers. I could do without Intoxicated and the Change cover. I can say I'll be looking forward to the next release from Tango Down.
  13. How is that "Mercy"? That's the only studio album from Bombay I don't have. Hey Wes, I've been spinning that Tango Down so much I just threw the Mercy in the car tonight while going for a drive. 3 of the first 5 songs were instant hits with me. That's all I've gotten to so far. I'll share more when I get to spin it a few more times. If the rest of the CD is as good I'd say prepare to order!
  14. Since I usually can't sleep through a night, maybe I should just get some Panther tickets! I had to have a few buddies listen to Community Property....hilarious.
  15. Are you referring to the CD or the scrotum?
  16. I wish they'd hold off on that until it gets really cold here. September and October are the best times to be out and about...though if it starts at 8p then maybe that's ok.
  17. Used to snag a few off of Napster then when I rebuilt my PC and they wouldn't work on the newly built PC without re-downloading them, I said no more. Now I guess they've gotten rid of that DRM problem. I've grabbed a few tracks for my wife off of Amazon. Works well enough.
  18. And to think I used to like this guy....what a jackass.
  19. I dislike Green Day so much a friend of mine bought a Green Day shirt and wears when he wants to get under my skin.
  20. Tango Down - Damage Control Bombay Black - Mercy Farcry - High Gear
