  1. Sorry, not sure I follow...I normally do what I want, which may or may not be a good thing in all cases, but please elaborate. Maybe he is angelface. Ya know, that thought briefly crossed my mind considering the tone of the message...but then I thought nahhhh, can't be. Or can it? We may never know.
  2. I've seen Firehouse numerous times and it doesn't matter if it is a festival, fairgrounds, bar or arena, they always seem like they want to be there and play for the crowd. I saw Aerosmith (Jackyl opened for them) but I don't remember a single thing about the concert. Not sure what that means.
  3. I saw Slaughter once in 89/90 ish (??) on their debut album tour at the Marquee in London. I must admit from what I recall it was fucking excellent. Never seen Faster Pussycat.........thank God. I saw Faster Pussycat open for the Crue and I recall both bands put on a great show. I'm sure it can be hit and miss with most bands, some more than others. I often hear about GNR being a pain in the ass, not showing up on time, etc. but the one time I had a chance to see them they started on time and were great.
  4. I saw Tesla last year and they were spot on. Tight sound, great vocals, played all the great tunes. I could tell the crowd was into it. Who knows, it's hit and miss. I saw L.A. Guns years ago at a festival. They came out for 25 minutes of crap and left the stage. I remember seeing one of them (can't remember which one) getting up close and personal with some pink haired roadie after their "show" (and I use that term loosely).
  5. I am curious what Shotgun Messiah would have been like in '91 after the Second Coming release. Whether a bar scene or opening up for someone else I'd imagine some serious head banging. W.A.SP. would be cool. There are plenty of others for me.
  6. Thanks all! Yesterday was a good day. I transplanted 7 pine trees from my parents farm to my place (cross your fingers they will take hold and grow), went out to dinner with the Mrs., and tipped back a few with some friends before calling it a day.
  7. Just grabbed a Leinenkugel's Classic Amber out of the ol' man's fridge to go along with the Papa Murphy's pizza while I make some posts on the HH message board. A good night indeed.
  8. To me the listing is very non-descript but does lead me to believe a 1990 pressing. If I am looking for something in a very specific condition, i.e. original pressing, non-music club, no cut outs, no drill holes, no clipped corners, writing on inserts, etc. I always ask. It has been backed that MM does not answer emails so I'll avoid them. Someone made a good point above that the average Joe selling a CD is probably not intentionally misleading anyone. Someone who sells CD's for a living knows better.

    Hello

    Greetings from Wisconsin!
  10. The final chapter is written and the book is closed. It ended well enough. No Tigertailz cd, but no money lost. Live and learn. From Paypal today: "We have concluded our investigation into your case and have decided in your favor. We were able to recover $23.50 USD and this amount has been credited to you. Please allow five business days for this adjustment to be posted."
  11. For me what adds to that entertainment is one of my best friends is a die hard Raiders fan. He run's our FFL, we always have side bets on games, big time into football. I just returned last night from out of town and read what the Raiders had done so far. Now I am trying to think of the perfect text message to send him and get him all fired up.
  12. Wait a minute...broken bones and cops called? Do tell...
  13. Now that pick was a huge surprise to me! Not the worst pick they could have made but I think this kid is going to have some problems. Seems to be mixed feelings among the fans and analysts. Some are saying problem child, other's say the play making ability is huge. Being from the other side of the river, you know which way I'd like to see him go...wait and see. Meanwhile, the Packers' draft is getting decent review so far. I like the idea of the switch to the 3-4 defense but I am not sure they were ready for it at the personnel level. However while they sat on their hands in free agency for the most part it seems they did make an effort with coaching hires and the draft to put the pieces in place. I guess I'll wait and see here as well.
  14. Who is gonna throw him the ball? That'd be Mr. Rosefels I dunno...I think Chili Pepper sorta has feelings towards TJ.
  15. winrar is good. I'll throw the one I use just because it's nice to have options: http://www.7-zip.org/

  17. No kidding, every time a song brings me back to the good old days I ask that same question...where did the time go?
  18. Only if rare or unreleased material or if I come across one very cheap in a pawn shop.
  19. Though there is not a press release on the Rock Gone Wild website the entry page to the website just announced the following bands: Saving Abel Dokken Jackyl Armored Saint LA Guns (Phil Lewis) Black N Blue Texas Hippie Coalition
  20. Oh, and by way, the username is no longer a registered user. Final count was -3 on the feedback score with zero disks shipped. I can take comfort in the fact that I paid the least with my $20 (or maybe I won't take comfort in that). For those interested these buyers left feedback. I didn't yet. Jimmie Spheeris - Isle Of View (Sony) Rare OOP CD (#220385929337) US $28.00 A very unprofessional seller-Paypal payment made but seller refused to ship item State of Shock - Ted Nugent Rare OOP Epic Sony 1979 CD (#220382831566) US $37.60 An absolute joke, never sent item, never refunded, avoid at all costs! This Time We Mean It - REO Speedwagon Rare OOP CD (#220386351207) US $95.00 Worst seller I have ever had to deal with. Do not do business with this person! With reply by the "angel" of: Reply by angelface2222 (Apr-06-09 13:05): Buyer is a no good uncaring demanding person who needs to experience disability2 Anyway, Paypal stated I'll most likely get a refund since it was reported so soon the seller most likely could not transfer the funds in time. Whether that is true or not I will not know for a few more weeks.
