  1. Well, I guess this link is more informative. Interesting bit of history I never knew. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gare_Montparnasse
  2. Here you go I think...had to read the writing on the building in the background. Took a bit to figure out what it actually said. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chemins_de_Fer_de_l'Ouest
  3. Is Pete signing boobs again this year?
  4. I changed my mind, I'm going to Rockamerica... NOT! It's gonna be a great time! Absolutely!!!!! Looking forward to hanging out and hearing some great bands!!! Hopefully we continue our trend of awesome weather for the weekend!! I sure hope so, the last two years have been fucking awesome weather wise, not to mention how much damn fun it was! Weather like today in the Twin Cities would be perfect...70's, sunny, light breeze and no humidity!

This mp3 was a free download on their website back in 2009 as a demo for the upcoming release. It has since been on their Myspace too. I agree, this is a gem that I find hard to believe didn't make the release. But they have other songs that never made it on past releases that are very good.
  6. "Where's your other hand?" "Between two pillows."
  7. So does this mean we can tell friends: "Sarah Jessica Parker walks into a bar and the bartender says..."
  8. I have to say, there are probably few who agree more with the fact that this is certainly one unattractive woman. And it pains me to say this, but, I have to admit my wife was watching the box set of 'Sex & The City' the other day, right from the start, and I wandered by the TV when she must have still been quite young and she was wearing some tight outfit and I did actually think - wow, I'd, uh, I'd actually smash that. Story over. So I just searched the net to try and come up with some proof, but was left totally empty-handed. She really is hideous. But on the up side, when I searched 'Sarah Jessica Parker bikini' in Google, I got this: Dear lord, those eyes!
  9. Don't hold back, tell us how you really feel!
  10. Funny, my dad has always called her "horse face" too...maybe he put up a website...probably not.
  11. About $28 for the Japanese release of GW with bonus track. A little too pricey me thinks. http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=KICP-1482 From the Crashdiet website: Japanese edition of GW Tuesday, 15 June 2010 07:15 | On June 26, Generation Wild will be released in Japan through KING Records! The album will include the bonus track "Sick mind". www.cdjapan.co.jp
  12. Same here, looks like a great lineup but it would require a plane ticket for me and that won't happen. Have fun and and let us know how it was Dave!
  13. The first time I listened to Sad Day On Planet Earth I couldn't find one decent track that I wanted to copy to my computer. I threw the disc in last week and tried for 2 days on the way back and forth to work and same results. For me there was not a single track that had anything catchy or memorable.
  14. Wow, I'm not even sure what to say or think after hearing that. I do hope he gets better too. I think Great White used to come to Dibbo's in Hudson, WI on Valentine's Day for a few years in a row, sort of like an annual thing and I never got down there to see them. My bad and I wish I would've.
  15. Yep, Efes and Tuborg (sp?) are popular. I'm curious to know what part of Turkey you are heading to Jez? Have a great time!
  16. I am curious to get home and hear what this new Tyketto track sounds like. ---------------- Strength In Numbers 2010 is available to order with immediate shipping from: http://www.hardrockhouse.com/Strength.htm Hot on the heels of Tyketto’s fantastic performance at the Download Festival in the UK last weekend HardRockHouse is proud to announce the re-issue of Tyketto’s superb sophomore album “Strength In Numbers”. The album features all twelve of the songs from the original 1994 release together with a bonus track in the shape of “Love To Love” And what a bonus track it is! Love To Love is the first new Tyketto song featuring Danny Vaughn in over 15 years. Written in February 2010 in Las Vegas when the band got together to start work on what will be a brand new Tyketto album the recording of Love To Love was completed just days before the band jetted into the UK to play Download. As you would expect the song mixes the acoustic guitar and fabulous riffs of Brooke St James that made the band’s reputation back in the day and of course is finished off with Danny’s superb vocals and fantastic harmonies. “Love To Love” is just a taster of the “strength” of Tyketto in 2010 and a snippet of what everyone has to look forward to when the new album is completed. The album also features a four page booklet with new liner notes from the band discussing the whole process of writing and recording Strength In Numbers and the story behind Love To Love, the brand new Tyketto track featured here as a bonus track.
  17. I don't have speakers at work, but I am dying to know what this is about.
  18. I did not see this but Twilight Zone comparison sounds cool. But the first thing I did was clicked that link to see if there was a hot chick on the show...was that wrong? Now that Lost is done, Flashforward is cancelled, V is done for awhile, I should find something new to watch. I had started to watch that Into The Universe with Stephen Hawking but they only did 3 episodes and quit. Dexter season 4 should be out on DVD soon I hope. Maybe I'll check back in a week or so and see what you guys are saying about this one.
  19. I'd be lying if I said was not a little surprised to see that Dangerous Toys is coming to GB Leighton's Pickle Park Bar in July. I'd also be lying if I said I was not a little bit excited to see this! One of my favorites from back in the late 80's early 90's, kick ass southern sleaze coming to a venue near me. GB Leighton's Pickle Park http://www.gbleightonspicklepark.com/ Now, the next question is....who's going?
  20. Anyone heading to The Bierstube in Oakdale, MN next weekend? Skid Row on Friday night, Dokken on Saturday night. http://thebierstube.com/oakdale.aspx Also, on a somewhat humorous side the Oakdale city council is concerned about Dokken coming to their city: http://oakdalelakeelmoreview.com/main.asp?SectionID=4&SubSectionID=233&ArticleID=6342
  21. It seems good but it would be nice if they had a few more songs to sample to get a better feel for their sound.
  22. I think so. I am not even a big Vince Neil fan but thought the song was decent....worth having in the shuffle.
