  1. Has anyone heard their song "Get Electric"? It is on the Badass single. At first I found the lyrics a little cheesy but it gets pretty catchy after a few spins.
  2. Hope you guys are having fun (how can you not)! I wait for new pics.
  3. Sounds like someone doing their own guitar work on a Lynyrd Skynyrd tune, maybe the solo or a modified solo for That Smell? I could be way off, but that is the first thing that came to mind. Good luck.
  4. Happy birthday fella's...I'll crank Skid Row's Monkey Business in honor of your day!
  5. I'm just glad the Packers don't have to deal with this off season crap from him. Great player, huge ego. He'll be back this year IMO.

But what if it hadnt been believed? What do you mean? It's believe date was May 14th... and it was believed then. So there's no what if's about it. This is craziness. Just buy this believe and enjoy it. Don't hate me just because I release in Jesus. I'm not sure what to think about this.
  7. I get one every once in awhile. They are just some dude on the other side of the world trying to get you Friend them so they can spam you with more crap or entice you to click on a porn link and maybe infect your PC with some spyware or adware. Avoid for sure.
  8. One that comes to mind immediatley: Motley Crue - Don't Go Away Mad
  9. I think I remember that gig. Did Disturbance (the "WE ONLY COME OUT AT NIGHT" band) open for'em? That pair played at a dump near me in Lodi, NJ called "Ruins Cafe" around that time (circa 1993/94)... I wanted to go to that show but as fate would have it, I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled only a day or two before the show so I spent that entire weekend in a haze of painkillers... I was in no shape to go anywhere I don't remember who the opening acts were, but I do remember Jason sporting a green tongue.. Better a green tongue than Sportin' A Woody!
  10. Wes, I read somewhere awhile back that scientists had figured out how to teleport an atom. Maybe by September they will have it completely working for humans. We'll keep our fingers crossed. Hmmm, two extreme opposite opinions....definitely have to listen to some samples beforehand.
  11. I agree it is a little early for a tribute maybe and for sure the songs are fine as they are...as are most songs that are covered. For me, I want to hear the different styles applied by these bands. For example I'll be interested to see how Peep Show applies their slightly harder, darker side to Breakin' The Chainz. Not a must have by any means for most people but one I will be interested in.
  12. Tried a search and didn't see any postings here. I'll be checking this one out. From Street Symphonies Underground Records The cd pays tribute to singer David Hellman (a.k.a. Dave Lepard), who committed suicide in January 2006 at the age of 25. The tribute album will be released in January 2011. 13. Hmmm, I'll have to check a few clips from some other songs. I never gave anything else on it a listen so I suppose I never gave it a fair chance. You should make the road trip over! It's not really THAT many hours.

I was just out on their Myspace page yesterday and caught a few seconds of a song before Mrs. Jeff interupted me and we left for the day. This reminds me to get back out there and finish my investigation.
  15. Where else but GB Leighton's Pickle Park: http://www.gbleightonspicklepark.com/ I never did pick up Good 2B Alive because I heard the song LOL and didn't like the name of the song, or the song itself. Judging from the lack of comments on the main page and the few that are there I should be hoping they stick to the old stuff.
  16. Oh yeah, it was a great show. They had a local band called 32HeadShots that was pretty good. Then this strange band called Beatallica who played Beatles tunes with a Metallica sound. I couldn't get into them but I didn't hear much either. DT was out by their merch table taking photos, signing stuff and talking with fans so I was over there of course. I asked a Jason a couple of questions: Jeff: With all the 80's bands releasing new cd's is Dangerous Toys going to put out another CD? Jason: Nope, never. Jeff: Perhaps a new single track for another Best Of or anything new? Jason: Nope, we are just having a good time playing all the old stuff and that's what our fans want to hear from us anyway. Jeff: What is your favorite song to sing? Jason: <he said some song I had not heard of by Metallica...or he might have Beatallica because he laughed after he said it...or maybe he was laughing at the look on my face because he gets that question all the time> Jason: My favorite DT song to sing live is Bones In The Gutter. No particular reason other than I like it. Jeff: Interesting choice, I wouldn't expect you to say Scared I guess but I would have guessed maybe Paintrain or Line Em Up Jason: Line Em Up is cool, we'll be playing that tonight man! Jason was cool, totally hanging with the fans, he stayed after the show a bit to take pics. Mark Geary and Mike Watson were also out there talking and taking pics before the show. Cool guys. Finally around 12:30a DT hit the stage. They used Beatallica's equipment, and sounded good. Jason had the distinct scratchy voice going but he talks a lot during the show, sometimes even stopping mid-song which I admit I don't like much but he interacts with the crowd a lot. Good DT crowd, some small fights, tossed beers, head banging, one body surfer, and some girls got up on stage and security had to get them down. They played Ten Boots, Bones In The Gutter, Teasn Pleasn, Scared, Queen Of The Nile, That Dog, Sport N A Woody, Outlaw, Sugar Leather And The Nail, Gimme No Lip, Line Em Up, Pissed. That is all I can remember anyway. Someone kept screamin' for Demon Bell finally Jason said we dont play that one live much but we did for the new DVD. Good times, hope they come back.
  17. Just a friendly reminder for anyone within driving distance of the Twin Cities with nothing to do tonight.
  18. Tc, I am work and cannot check them out now but I am curious, the main page has them listed as Hard Rock and a comment puts them in the "Nickelback" category, but you have them posted in the Sleaze category here. With the high praise/ratings so far I am hoping it is more good sleaze but if its Nickelback's style, well then, I suppose that is ok.
  19. If it wasn't a plane ticket away I'd be there rockin' with ya...sounds like more fun.
  20. My first DRF was great! Thanks to many people (you know who you are!). Definitely a weekend I won't forget.
  21. Tonight I am in the car and I'm listening to Zan Clan's "Go Go Go". The song has cop car siren's in it and of course I start looking in my rear view mirror, side mirrors for a few seconds before I realize...idiot, it's the song...again. Does that happen to you? If so, what songs do you know of that have a sound that "fools" or "tricks" you in some way.
