  1. Oh yeah, second one is very good. I'd say this, if you like the first one you should very much like the second one. Send them an email directly at their website. That is where I ordered both of mine each time and if I did email them somebody always responded (website manager or maybe their manager, not sure). Anyway, it is $10 USD (about 7 or 8 euro?) for each CD directly from them, not too bad IMO. http://www.dirtypennysucks.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=23 And I double checked just so you know, Young & Reckless does come in a digipak style jewel case which is done very nice, BUT no inserts, lyrics or anything. It just opens up with a band pic on the inside and their names and that's about it....better then the slipcase though!
  2. Never released in a jewel case. When I bought mine I actually emailed them and asked if they had a different version I be willing to pay more for. Whoever manages their website replied and said something like "the boys are just starting out, being their first cd this is all they could afford" Their second release is in a slightly better package, digipak type casing minus all the good stuff (I think). Great CD, even better than the first IMO.

  4. What a tune!!! Love it! Dangerous Toys - Bones In The Gutter Nice, a little DT! My bud Sal and me stole a crane Then I stabbed the bitch in a vein
  5. Am I converting the price right? $45 USD if you pre-order the CD? Please someone tell me I am wrong. Even if it is signed, if they want $45, that is BS if you ask me. https://www.bengans.se/popup/hardcore_split/int.aspx?language=en
  6. Ha, well Wes, you were sorta right. I got the package from Impulse today and the Hell N Diesel isn't a 2 CD set like most of would think of a 2 CD set, but they sent the regular CD and the Sweet Sister CD single with an extra track called Freak City Blues. It is in a professionaly done cardboard sleave...pretty nice actually so no complaints here. The Peep Show is what I expected. So, I am happy, the Hell N Diesel is pretty easy to get for this price but the CD single was a nice bonus and I am very pleased with the Peep Show price.
  7. Maybe it is the same guy and he likes to tell stories of rock n roll?!?!
  8. Sorry, what... where!?!?!!? WHat on the dvd? And where'd ya get it from? I have been digging around for a decent price on that Peep Show and came across it at Impulse Music for $12. So I started rumaging through their website and trust me, I was just as surprised to see Hell N Diesel listed this way but I figured what the heck, I have had this on my list to buy for awhile, the price is right and if it really is a 2 disc set then I'm happy. Should be arriving today or tomorrow (maybe). I'll report back. Here is the link to the H n D that I bought: http://www.impulsemusic.com/catalog/detail.asp?id=9546 cheers for the info. once you receive it, let me know what's on the 2nd disc. Unfortunately with Impulse you just never know if you're going to get what they say you're going to get. Good luck and yes I'd love to get the DVD version as well. Ah, good to know, I have never ordered from them before. Looking at the webpage again this morning it says 2 "CD" so I dont know why I said "DVD" But I will let you guys know what exactly arrives.
  9. I had a similar thought yesterday: F*CKIN' SCIENTISTS, WHEN ARE THEY GONNA FIGURE OUT TELEPORTATION SO I GET MY SH*T DELIVERED INSTANTLY! F*CK. <goes in house and kicks the wife's cats a few times (just kidding PETA)>
  10. Seconded, I just started using that myself, and that is a great tool... in fact it's exactly what notified me of Crocodile Dundee's post up there. ^^^^ Thirded (is that a word?)...I just started using Watch this topic as well, it has helped since I struggle with the Search feature
  11. ...I'm out in the garage and the Orkin man just finishes up spraying the inside of the house and comes into the garage. He says, "I see you are a Green Bay Packer fan and a rock n roll fan, that's good, so am I." He goes on to tell me that he used to live in Florida and work for a uniform company that provided uniforms for a shop that David Lee Roth worked at before DLR hit it big. He said he would bring uniforms over and eventually he and DLR became friends, get high in the back of the shop. When they were ready to go out on tour to make it big DLR asked him if he wanted to be a roadie. The Orkin Man was married so he declined but he always wondered what he missed out on. I have no way of knowing if this guy is telling me a story or being straight up, but my normal day took a slightly weird twist at that point. I'll never think the same about bug prevention again.
  12. I'm a day late and a dollar short. I hope you tipped a few for all of us and had a great day! I will crank up, let's see, Krokus - Too Wired To Sleep in honor of your day on the way home from work tonight.
  13. Not to digress too much from the point of the thread but regarding Peep Show, I think Lindsay, you pointed me to them awhile back and I think after the first few spins I told you I wasn't overly impressed but I stuck with them and changed my opinion...pretty darn good. But my point is if you live in the US and like sleaze, this is a good price for this disc. Everywhere else is gets over 20USD after conversion rates and shipping.
  14. Damn I love that band/album and I sure wish they'd make another one. Just killer stuff that rivals the best of any of the new Sleaze bands IMO. I agree, very good stuff. They have a hard rock/sleaze sound as opposed to the glam/sleaze but both are fine by me.

  16. Gin Blossoms ending with Lordi...that would make for an interesting night out on the town.
  17. Grabbing a few that have been on my buy list: Peep Show - Out For Blood Hell N Diesel - Passion For Power (CD+DVD 2 disc)
  18. I'm not sure what my problem is with these bands. I used to like AC/DC and Metallica (never into Ozzy that much) but after hearing them over and over and over again I get bored with it, then I became annoyed with the bands themselves for some reason.
  19. Hey. If any of you are looking for any early Christmas gift ideas for me, I have one. I'd like Green Day, piece of shit band, right here tonight. I want them brought from their happy holiday slumber where ever the f*ck they are with all the other piece of shit bands, and I want them brought right here...with a big ribbon on each of their heads! I want to look Green Day straight in the eye, and I want to tell them what cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack's of monkey shit they are! Hallelujah! Holy shit! Where's the Tylenol?
  20. Dear AC/DC, Metallica, and Ozzy, While you have quite a collection of music and fans worldwide, you are the reason I cannot listen to radio. Your songs are over played to the point where I went from changing the channel when your songs came on, to forgetting about radio all together. Actually, aside from old Metallica, I really don't find much of your music that great anyway. In fact, I should put any cd's I own of yours on my trade list. Regards, Jeff
  21. They are coming to Hudson, WI on Halloween weekend. I wasn't really planning to bother but after your good comments I might go. I think it is free anyway if you belong to Dibbo's email list.
  22. That is mighty generous of you to give Lindsay so much advanced notice. I expect he should answer promptly as it is the only mannerly thing to do.
