  1. One listen and about 4-5 tunes caught my attention...this could be a good one if it has some growers on it.
  2. "Mole...... Mole...... MOLEY, MOLEY, MOLEY, MOLEY, MOLEY!!!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mvxe04wGmTw LOL, forgot about that scene....awesome!
  3. Saw the pilot, will definitely check it out for a while longer. I am a Kevin Bacon fan though, especially since we are related...by only 6 degrees. I just wish that one detective would get grazed by a bullet right in that big huge mole. It's like I wanna look away but I can't.
  4. My cd was directly from the band website as a preorder, shipped out of Sweden. Would that not be considered the Euro version? Mine does not have the bonus track on it. I guess when Mullethead gets his in the mail we will know. Liquid Jesus is just ok anyway, but with download versions, Japan, Euro, US, Intergalactic and etc, etc. releases its hard to keep track.
  5. 11 and 13...dammit Beavis, not 1. I am having my typing and numbering issues lately! Of course I still think it is 2012. Change The World is good, probably not a favorite of mine but I would not ax it. Starts the CD off very good. I like Excited as well, just 3-10 is the strongest section of the disc (to embrock's question). Really it is all good with tracks 11 and 13 just being OK.
  6. At this point I think they could have axed Track 1 and 13...not terrible tunes but not really that great either. The rest of it is excellent. Starting at Anarchy, track 3 through Snakes In Paradise, track 10, is the strongest part of the album for me. I agree with Glen and embrock. "Gleaming" is a good way to describe what GW has and this one does not. And I agree that the vocals do seem to get lost at times. The packaging....I ordered this from the band, pre-order, and it came as a hard case CD (aka not a digi), The package overall is done up to standards, with lyrics, quality print, etc. They autographed the very center booklet which has a pic of each of them, so they signed their pic. I see there is a JAPAN version available, but don't see a bonus track. Anyone get the JP release? \m/
  7. This is what I posted out on FB earlier...and of course it is 2013, but what do I know.... First spin through, no single song hit me like GW's Chemical did and I felt the production could use a little Chris Laney to commercialize it bit and something to clear it up. SECOND spin through, I turned up the volume bigtime (like it was meant to be) and there are some killer tunes on here....Snakes In Paradise, California, Sin City, Got A Reason, Drinkin Without You. I like the way it flows, from song to song, no ballads (is that good or bad?), very little mid-tempo tunes, all rockers. It plays through quickly which for me means it is a good thing. I will like this more and more with each spin. I wouldn't say it is better than their other releases but it is on par or close to it. With a band like Crashdiet so much is expected. If an unknown band put this out people would be claiming it's the second coming of Appetite For Destruction...well, I exaggerate a little maybe. It's good a great start to 2012 IMO!
  8. Ok, yes, those samples make me feel MUCH better about this release. Not sure why they would pick that track as a first single but whatever. And that video...WTF?
  9. Hehehe....gotta love the cover. http://bandzone.cz/glamnsleazybastards
  10. Whatever happened to Jimbo? He was on here when I first joined. Did one of my first trades from this board with him. Seemed like a good dude.
  11. Part of it is a lot of people have nothing better to do but bitch and complain, try to live off everyone else for little or nothing and try to drum up attention for themselves for something that has nothing to do with them.
  12. You guys HAFTA go back and listen to their second release. I agree it is not as good as their first, but only but just a bit. There are some great tracks on it. Ok enough about II. Grip, this does sound really good...hoping for an actual CD.
  13. Very cool, I like their music
  14. The NBA is one of the least entertaining sports for me. People seem to like it though.
  15. I think Wes said he just ordered it....maybe try again Lindsay?
  16. I generally won't buy a cd without listening to at LEAST 5-6 tracks. There are some bands I would buy blindly....Crashdiet, Shakra, HCSS for example, but in general gotta hear a lot of tracks to spend the money...especially since some of these CD's are reaching that $20 range.
  17. I liked this one pretty much beginning to end...I think those ratings you gave are pretty spot on.
  18. Fillers? Wow. Barely a filler on any of their last 4 albums imo. There is no filler whatsoever on Split Your Lip. Agree, Split Your Lip excellent beginning to end.
  19. It has been out for a bit now, any feedback on this one?

    Peep Show

I guess James you can get after me on this one because I liked Out For Blood waaaay better than this one. There are about 5 good songs on Brand New Breed. I have tried spinning it many times and just cannot get that into it. It's decent but not great to me. Oh well.

    Skull Daze

Is there anything you DO like? This was a great release front to back IMO. Heartbreak City is the "standout track" to me but they are all very good.
  22. Finnish rockers Reckless Love have confirmed the release of a new eight song mini-album called 'Born To Break Your Heart', via Spinefarm Records, ahead of their October tour dates. Says frontman Olli Herman, "We are all so excited about this release. As old school '80s metal fans, we wanted to put together something we were dying to get from our own idols, in the fashion of Guns N' Roses' 'Lies' (which was like a gift from heaven for us as kids); a sort of bonus item designed to reveal more of the whole band and its foundations. So, instead of just releasing 'Born To Break Your Heart' as a straight single, we've thrown in some kickass live tracks, plus a couple of badass acoustic cuts and more, to give a special treat to our fans. To top it all off, we've got a great new mix of the title track by the legendary Tim Palmer himself..." Regarding the upcoming UK tour, Herman continued, "We've also put together a healthy run of nationwide dates to back the whole thing up. So, this October, we'll be embarking on a tour that throws us straight back into the spirit of our '80's sunset strip idols, by coming back every Thursday to the Barfly in Camden Town, North London -- four London headline shows in a month! We're gonna make every night a special event. You'd better be there to witness it all -- they'll be talking about this outing for some time to come!" A complete list of the band's October UK tour dates can be found at www.recklesslove.com. 'Born To Break Your Heart' track listing: 01. Born To Break Your Heart (Tim Palmer Mix) 02. Beautiful Bomb (Live) 03. On The Radio (Live) 04. Hot (Live) 05. Push (Outtake From The Album "Animal Attraction") 06. Animal Attraction (Unplugged) 07. The Boys Are Back In Town (Unplugged) 08. One More Time (Unplugged)
  23. Not really a kick ass first single but I am guessing the rest of the cd picks up the pace a bit.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sp-Gy6h36S4&feature=youtu.be
