  1. Frontiers Music srl · Happy 3rd Anniversary to The Defiants excellent sophomore album, "Zokusho"! What's your favorite track on this one? The Defiants #3 coming in 2023!
  2. Ordered it from here as I don't speak French https://www.thestoreformusic.com/shop.php#!/Bangalore-Choir-Beyond-Target-The-Demos-This-extremely-limited-edition-is-only-available-by-mail-order-directly-from-Global-Rock-Records-The-Store-For-Music/p/490467611/category=10531011
  3. I think Michael has pretty much disowned that album/band. I don't think he was happy with the final release due to record label interference and he was pissed off with Steve for leaving him to go to work for Vince Neil, a guy Michael has no love for obviously.
  4. http://metalsludge.tv/reunited-hanoi-rocks-to-reunite-original-line-up-to-celebrate-michael-monroes-60th-birthday-at-concert-in-helsinki-finland/ http://metalsludge.tv/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Hanoi_Rocks_Sept_2022_1.jpg Hanoi Rocks Blabbermouth — Michael Monroe, who turned 60 in June, will celebrate the milestone with a bang at the Helsinki Ice Hall on September 23. Now Monroe has revealed the big news: as the grand finale of the concert, the original lineup of HANOI ROCKS, one of Finland’s most significant rock bands of all time, will take the stage: Monroe, Andy McCoy, Sami Yaffa, Nasty Suicide and Gyp Casino. The quintet, which started a historic chapter in the world’s music scene, was seen on stage for the last time at Helsinki’s Tavastia on July 27, 1982. Internationally acclaimed throughout their career, HANOI ROCKS has had a great impact on the history of rock. Several international bands, such as FOO FIGHTERS, GUNS N’ ROSES and SKID ROW, acknowledge the influence of HANOI ROCKS and hold the band in very high regard. For decades there has been an endless amount of requests to reform the original lineup and for the legendary band to perform live. An idea that has previously seemed impossible is now becoming a reality at Monroe‘s 60th-birthday concert. “This is the only appropriate time and place for all five original members of HANOI ROCKS to get on stage to play together after a break of over forty years,” says Michael. “This is not a HANOI ROCKS reunion, but a unique part of the anniversary concert. At first I planned to keep it a surprise but after giving it some more thought, I realized that it wouldn’t be fair, especially to the fans, not to make this public in advance and that everybody should have the chance to be there.” Monroe and McCoy founded HANOI ROCKS in the late 1970s and the band’s original lineup was established in 1980. HANOI ROCKS, the first Finnish rock band to make an international breakthrough, recorded their first three albums with the original lineup: “Bangkok Shocks, Saigon Shakes, Hanoi Rocks” (1981),“Oriental Beat” (1982) and “Self Destruction Blues” (1982). Casino was replaced in 1982 by Nicholas “Razzle” Dingley who became an integral member of HANOI ROCKS. Razzle died in a tragic accident in 1984. Unfortunately, this led to the band’s untimely demise in early 1985. Another big surprise for the unique 60th-birthday concert is that the “support band” for the show will be the legendary DEMOLITION 23 reunited. Led by Monroe, the band rose to great cult fame, although they only released one album (“Demolition 23”) in 1994 and broke up shortly afterwards. This is the first performance of the band since the band’s breakup in 1995. Also of note is that the Demolition 23 album is to be reissued on CD and Vinyl on 14th October 2022, featuring 3 extra demo tracks https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Demolition-23/dp/B09NH3B9QL/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=Demolition+23&qid=1662603277&sr=8-1 1 Nothin's Alright 2 Hammersmith Palais 3 The Scum Lives On 4 Dysfunctional 5 Ain't Nothin' To Do 6 I Wanna Be Loved 7 You Crucified Me 8 Same Shit Different Day 9 Endangered Species 10 Deadtime Stories 11 Hammersmith Palais (demo) 12 Dysfunctional (demo) 13 The Scum Lives On (demo)
  5. Of the big four of thrash, Megadeth has long been my fave followed closely by Anthrax, but in the last decade or so, for me Anthrax had released the better albums. Megadeth's albums were good, don't get me wrong, but they really lacked those big stand out songs that older albums were full of. It was a given that I was gonna buy this as soon as I could anyway, but the singles that were released prior to the album coming out had me more excited than I have been for a Megadeth album in quite some time, and it does not disappoint. It is just killer track after killer track with some of the best guitar work on a Deth album in years. Dave still sounds his venom spitting best as well. So many stand out tracks on this one already. Easily one of my top albums this year. Welcome back Megadeth.
  6. Bonus track is a re-recorded or remastered song that was on the Early years album
  7. I ordered the CD from Amazon UK and got the digital copy around midnight last night and CD showed up this afternoon. Surprised to find there are actually two extra tracks on the digital version. This song with Sammy and a Dead Kennedys cover song, Police truck. Someone has submitted a European version of the CD on Discogs with these tracks and an extra live track, but I cannot find this version anywhere. Anyway, luckily Amazon provided the bonus studio tracks and could not care less about live tracks.
  8. Well here's a collaboration I never thought would happen, Megadeth and Sammy Hagar
  9. Chris Cornell - Carry on Billy Idol - The roadside EP Megadeth - The sick, the dying...and the dead Wayward Sons - Score settled
  10. Oh, and add this as a bonus song
  11. Take out: Christine 16 Calling doctor love Shandi I'm a legend tonight Modern day Delilah Add: You wanted the best Hide your heart Rise to it Forever Lets put the X in sex
  12. Nobody NEEDS to do anything in videos. She WANTS to, and who are we to judge ... thats the point.
  13. Can you believe some people are actually posting on the original video saying that this video is above her and she is demeaning herself by showing her butt and cleavage. And worst thing is, they appear to nearly all be men. Harry (her boyfriend I believe) who plays drums on this and guitar at her live gigs (plus is new Tyketto guitarist) even replied to a guy calling it softcore porn, saying she is just being a woman who wants to enjoy herself, but the original comment now seems to be deleted as other people were saying if thats what you call softcore porn, you have lead a very sheltered life
  14. Including Spike, that is four members of the band who appeared on the debut album. Certainly more of a Quireboys than the other guys.
  15. How much did Archie pay you to post that?
  16. Not gonna lie, as a fan of Diamante I am kinda disapointed in this cover. While the vocals are fine, it just does not feel that much different to the original and Kate's original vocals had a uniqueness and subtly that Dia's version lacks. Also musically, there is a lil more guitar, but barely, and pretty much sounds note for note the same. Just a case of bandwagon jumping really, considering how popular this song is right now due to Stranger Things. I don't hate this version, I just don't think it's necessary when you make no effort to make the song your own.
  17. I was starting to have better hopes for this album, but from what has released so far it is a total mixed bag, and they don't seem to know what sound they are going with. A couple of great songs, some ok ones and some not so good.
