  1. Just added this one to the main page: a cool little promo disc that replaces "You Ain't The First" and "Dead Horse" from the other compilation with "Locomotive" and "You Could Be Mine" , and loses that second version of "Don't Cry". A better representation of the 2 albums IMO. https://heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/glamcd.cgi?BandNum=237&CDName=On+Tour+Now!

  4. From their "Wolves" CD that I had no idea had been released earlier this year... Plus the first single, "My Weakness" ...
  5. "Gems" may have been too strong a word; perhaps "above average renditions" would be a better description. The Ghost and Weezer versions of "Enter Sandman" are pretty good, "Sad But True" by a band called White Reaper is pretty good, as well as a slow, piano version of SBT by Sam Fender (that one is definitely not for everyone.) On the other disc I've heard, My Morning Jacket's version of "Nothing Else Matters" stands out because it changes the entire feel of the song, but several other versions of NEM are decent too, including Darius Rucker's rendition. Haven't got to listen to the other two discs yet. Hearing the same song 6 or more times in a row in some instances is a bit much to be honest; I don't see me returning to this unless I do make my own disc of favorites to be honest.
  6. The Metallica Blacklist Two discs in, and there are a few gems here amongst a lot of crap. Probably gonna take all my faves and burn one decent disc to listen to in the car...
  7. You just described not only Vega, but Eclipse, and Degreed as well for me; nothing wows me about any of them.
  8. The Big Short Margin Call Too Big to Fail Yep, a definite theme this week. πŸ’΅
  9. Days of Future Past and The Writing on the Wall are excellent tracks; unfortunately, they're surrounded by a whole lot of "meh".
  10. Sweden's Lifeline released a single in 1986, You Better Believe It / Together and then followed that up with a 4 song EP, Anyway You Want It, in 1993. https://heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/glamcd.cgi?BandNum=9458&CDName=Anyway You Want It They eventually reunited in 2000 and released two albums under the band name Dreamhunter. https://heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/band.cgi?BandNum=1067 Here are a coupla tracks that didn't wind up on either of the Dreamhunter releases...
