E Bay is too busy collecting listing fees and commissions on these NON EXISTANT sales.................heaven forbid they would remove such a seller generating all these fees for them.....

My exact thoughts.....E Bay has all this tremendous technology and what do they do with it.....screw with the decent people while the rampant and openly deceptive people continue to laugh at the "suspended accounts" and skirt the whole E BAY SECURITY SYSTEM which is nothing short of laughable to begin with. I had a friend tell me this past week that he had to file a non paying bidder alert on a Russian buyer for non payment. He got his credit from E Bay for the transaction and a month after the auction, a registered letter arrives from the Russian buyer with the cash payment. The buyer had insisted that he mailed payment right after the auction. My friend mailed the CD to the Russian buyer and within 2 weeks, he got the CD and went to E Bay and left a positive feedback for my friend.......BINGO.....within the hour, my friend received an e mail from E Bay alerting him that they had reinstated the E Bay fees that they had previously credited him because the buyer had posted positive feedback declaring he had received the CD. Now you tell me.....is the technology in place for E Bay to make money???? You betcha......But, they just can't seem to get it figured out how to keep the maggots from coming back over and over again...............

Hey Dan.....have you been getting any other complaints from "long winded" people like me who post more than 500 chars on the comments board? The alledged new 1,000 char upgrade just ain't workin'!!!! Still limits one to 500 chars as always......... Hey......Those foreign language posts work good though......LOL!!!

I pretty much agree with what Mark said....I too became a member of the site near the beginning. I don't have nearly the number of posts that many of the shorter term members, but, I'm one of those that stops by once or twice a day to see "whassup" and occasionally "stir the pot a bit".........yeah, sorry to say, this old geezer does that once in awhile!! I check the topics that interest me....post on occasion when I think I have something to contribute and have even developed some pretty good friendships with others on the board. I guess it boils down to the fact that some people either decide they no longer share the same interests as they once did or have other obligations to attend to...... Hey, it may even be that we just don't "generate" as much excitement as in the old days of the "SAM WARS" !!!!! or...even the "great Lonnie consipiracy"....... everyone was stopping by several times a day to catch up on the latest "poop"!!!!

Problem with Canadians or do you simply love getting lippy and throwing out as many F bombs as possible? Are you kidding me ?? I love freaking Canada. I have to side with Jared's post : "If you are talking about Tony I might have to get offended. I realize there have been some issues with PJ but if you are including Tony in the group of "tools" you mention you are way out of line. I don't believe I have ever heard a single person say anything negative about him. If you are going to trash someone, at least be accurate." Tony has been nothing but a stand up person to deal with in my experience and has always sent me exactly what was described......

A-h-h-h......Torch......I remember the self titled ....... the sound is pretty good, not quite as raw and aggressive as the EP "Fireraiser". This is 80's metal and the sound is pretty good, although you do have to remember it was 1984, not 2008 when it was recorded. Osten Bidebo, the singer, is very good, he's energetic, driven and rough but clear....as I recall, the guitars are pretty good too. So all in all, it's a solid 80s album that also has that "rare mystique" going for it. Out and out metal from Sweden, two of the band's members went on to play with the band CRYSTAL PRIDE, remember them? I'm totally surprised to hear a US radio station playing it......I'll vote for that station!!!

Just because the site is on the 'WORLDWIDE WEB' does not mean it is multilingual!!! The site is an 'ENGLISH' based, 'ENGLISH" oriented site until the not too distant past. A number of people began posting in Spanish and the webmaster decided to accomodate them by creating a Spanish based translator with the postings........I guess if the French guys start posting we'll have a French translator and of course, if the Russians decide to start posting comments, we'll add a Russian translator and etc etc etc.....???? Again, I knew I was going to snag some nerves, but this is getting out of hand in my opinion.

And I ask.....why do we not see posts in French, Bulgarian, Portugese etc etc etc etc etc etc.............??????

Pretty obvious I think.......most of those who posted in English have grown tired of the massive influx of Spanish comments and have just quit reading the comments section, subsequently, they've quit posting as well......

Pete........and again, my point.......does this mean that all those German, Swiss, Austrian, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, French, Portugese, Swedish, Norwegian, and many other language speaking friends do not have an interest? Not at all, they are just not "catered" to and are required to partake in the enjoyment using the English language.......after all, this site is not hosted in Panama, Guatamala, Mexico, Spain or any Latin American country now is it???? If you want to "join in' ....I enjoy having them all.......but, let's don't muddy up the waters just to please a certain group of people!!!!

Yep....I know I'm about to stir up a hornet's nest, but I've never been one to mince words and I've always been pretty vocal about my opinions.......so here goes.......... I have an issue with the Reader's comments posted in Spanish on the HH site. It's getting so they are growing and growing in numbers and has gotten to the point that I have just "stopped" reading that section of the site..... When the messageboard soon becomes filled with postings in "any language other than English", I will stop coming here as well..... It just adds confusion.....I don't care if there is a translation mechanism in place, it is an additional step to take other than just browsing comments, plus, the translations always leave much to be desired. This is America.....melting pop of the world.....why don't we have Bulgarian, Russian, French, Portugese, Chinese and Japanese comments posted too......aren't we suppose to be accomadating......or are we just being "politically correct" again here???? Where does this end???? For the past 200+ years we have communicated in ENGLISH in the UNITED STATES and now, all of a sudden, one group of people gets singled out for preferencial treatment..... So......when is the rest of the site going...."multilingual"????? Will I soon have to press a friggin' button when logging on to continue in English?????

Dave I knew probably most everyone would disagree with me, and I accept that......however, the next time you want to check someone's feedback on E Bay to decide if you want to transact with them....remember......most likely what your are seeing should actually be saying "you left me good feedback, so I've left you good feedback".......really doesn't mean a thing does it? As I said earlier.....yep, the morons will leave negative feedback because the jewel case arrived cracked!!! They didn't seem to think that it could have been broken in the mail, but.........I don't get all broke up about it....... BTW Dave......any chance of a low interest loan....say sometime next week????

Unfortunately, I will have to disagree with you Iordan. As a seller on E Bay, I always leave feedback as soon as I receive payment from a buyer. Check with anyone who has ever bought anything from me. Yeah, there's been a couple of morons who you just can't satisfy, but the way I look at it, people who bid in my auctions and buy from me over and over know what to expect from me anyway. The whole feedback system is "designed" so that the seller leaves feeback based upon the communication, promptness of payment and following of instructions after the sale. The buyer leaves feedback based upon the promptness of delivery, item as described/condition and the seller's communication. What good is feedback at all if it is just a mutual I'll pat your back if you pat mine???? Why even look at anyone's feedback if that's the philosophy you maintain??? Yes, I know I'm going to get a ton of responses from people who think just the opposite, and that's fine. I just want to go on record to say that this is not how I operate. I do the very best I can to satisfy the buyers in my auctions and live with that. As a buyer, it is my position to post feedback based upon the criteria stated above, however, I also do not leave feedback as a buyer until the seller has posted feedback based upon my prompt payment and other criteria as a buyer. If he is waiting for me to "pat his back", he'll have to wait until the grass grows a little taller in Antarctica!!! He already has all the information he needs to post feedback when he receives my payment. His end of the transaction was completed "FIRST". Get 'er done....................

Talked to a friend on the phone this afternoon and he was telling me that he has an ongoing PAYPAL dispute. Told me he used buy it now to purchase a Kidd Wikked CD on E Bay last month. When the purchase arrived, it was a cheap CDR with flimsy cheap homemade inserts and a paper label on the CDR. Well.....from looking at the photos in the item description, I would immediately have questioned that one....it has "homemade" written all over it!!!! Poor cutting on the inserts and flimsy appearing......terrible quality label...... He said seller has told PAYPAL that the CD sent was an original!!!! As I told my friend.....here is just another example of why you should be buying and transacting with people you know and trust.

They have wish lists which you can subscribe to and they will send you an e mail if anyone lists a CD you are searching for......basically, you do have to be up on your French skills inorder to manuever the site, but, it can be another resource to find that elusive CD. do they send to the U.S.? yes

Last time I ordered was about this time last year......the web site says "On Vacation" and has been that way for about a year now. I guess they went to South America and decided to stay for the Venezualian Election!!!!

Yes, I agree Geoff......I'm really anxious to see how the DIH auction pans out......a lot depends on how many people are aware of it and if they really know about the band.

Pretty much in agreement with everyone else.......I loved this band immensely in the early days. Although I have all of their CDs in my collection, it seems they have reached the pinnacle of their song writing a couple of CDs ago and are no longer creative. I don't seem to get as excited with their newer releases.
