Gus G - Brand New Revolution

Recommended Posts

Haven't seen anyone post about this one yet. Comes out July 24 on Century Media.

Guest vocal appearances by Jeff Scott Soto, Elize Ryd (Amaranthe), Jacob Bunton (Adler, Lynam) & Mats Leven (Candlemass, x-Yngwie)!

Sounds pretty solid.

Cool tune. Yeah, the last album was pretty solid if I remember right.

I liked the first firewind demo(when he was still studying) + first firewind full length + dream evil + mystic prophecy releases. Nowadays, I will listen to a couple of tracks from his dream evil + mystic prophecy days, but above all, his first firewind because I love the singer he had there.

Gave it a couple of listens. Overall is a decent effort,minus a couple tracks( I skipped in the middle the modern-groovy one with female vox).

As a matter of fact I even loved 3 tracks for future listening pleasure. 2 with Mats and 1 with JSS on vox.

Anyone checked out his new album, 'Fearless,' with Dennis Ward on vocals for the entire album?

Nice sound and some great musicianship, but sadly, like most this year, it falls short for me. Just too many average songs. :(

One song I randomly thought was pretty cool was this. Don't ask me why, as it ain't my usual jam;
