Debut album in the making.

From FB:

"Rock n roll at it´s finest, brought to you by the White Trash Presidents of SweDenmark

This is what happens when you take two of Sweden's, and two of Denmarks rock n roll songwriters that were raised by the 80´s LA-rock scene, and give them a studio and a stage!"

In August, the Denmark based StarRats announced that they were disbanding after three full-length studio albums. Vocalist Magnus MP Moller and guitarist Dennis Post quickly teamed up with former Crazy Lixx bassist Loke Rivano and drummer Brion Wekin to form the White Trash Presidents. The band has now released their first single and video for the song "One Fuse Left".

The name White Trash Presidents was originally the working title to be the StarRats next release, the first in a planned trio of EPs. Although the StarRats releases have now been canned, Moller tells Sleaze Roxx that, "you'll probably hear a lot of the stuff me and Post wrote for those EPs on the White Trash Presidents album, but maybe done a bit differently."

When asked why the StarRats decided to call it a day, Moller stated, "the thrill is simply gone, and when that goes the chemistry goes with it."

With the common love of solid, well written, well played, good old fashioned rock 'n' roll, the White Trash Presidents have found a rock sound that is quite unique, even for Scandinavian standards. You can clearly hear where the band members hail from, as well as the influences of bands like Guns 'N Roses, Social Distortion, Motley Crue, Velvet Revolver and Backyard Babies to name a few.

The StarRats gained a cult following through the albums 'Broken Halo', 'Rebelution' and 'Screw The Consequences'. Loke Rivano meanwhile made a name for himself on the well regarded Crazy Lixx albums 'Loud Minority', 'New Religion' and 'Riot Avenue' before leaving the band in early 2012.

Debut available on Spotify now for those who use Spotify. To buy they show it available on Itunes and Amazon. Best tracks One Fuse Left, Lovers and Haters, and Psycho Dad. On Psycho Dad they do the first part from Married With Children when Al used to watch Psycho Dad and sing along with the theme of the show (very good song!). I assume that's where they got it from unless someone else knows otherwise. Of course the mandatory ballad is the last song on the album (Lovesong) is a song which I can do without out, if you like ballads you might like this one.

    • Bit 50/50 on it, myself. I prefer the stuff on Mick's solo album, but it's not a bad song. That kind of solo in a Motley song definitely sticks out... but not in a bad way. It's cool. I dig.
    • Did they actually break up? They were releasing albums annually and finally fixed up the production end but haven't heard from them for a while now. Always loved everything they released, personally.  Edit - yeah, 'Be Here' from 2020 seems to be the last album. Allegedly still active, but obviously no recent albums. Would love to hear them add to the discography.
    • Released back in 2019 on vinyl only in most of the world, the only place it could be purchased on CD was Japan. It is finally available on CD to the rest of the world with the addition of two bonus tracks. One is the usual "bonus" track of a live recording of Go man go, and the other is the song Don't give up which was released at the start of the pandemic as a single. https://townsendmusic.store/product/140275?lf=035f179d9c80928d2d3b155fa72b0731 Follow the breadcrumbs to a sonic treasure trove with Alice Cooper's "Breadcrumbs" EP, which will be available on CD for the first time ever, featuring additional bonus tracks on this edition! Originally released in 2019 as a limited-edition 10" vinyl record, "Breadcrumbs" is a tribute to the garage rock heroes of Alice Cooper's hometown of Detroit. The EP features six tracks that showcase Cooper's raw and energetic take on classic Detroit tunes, including Suzi Quatro's "Your Mama Won't Like Me", Bob Seger's "East Side Story", and the MC5's "Sister Anne". It also includes the two additional bonus tracks "Don’t Give Up", conveying Cooper’s message of hope and perseverance to his fans during the COVID-19 pandemic, and a live version of "Go Man Go" from his electrifying set at Hellfest 2022. The album featured a star-studded lineup of Detroit musicians, including Wayne Kramer of the MC5, Johnny "Bee" Badanjek of the Detroit Wheels, and Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad. "Breadcrumbs" marked the beginning of Alice Cooper's homecoming, a journey that culminated in the critically acclaimed studio album "Detroit Stories", released in 2020. This EP served as a taste of Cooper's profound affection for his hometown's rich musical heritage, making it an essential addition for any devoted fan of the shock rock icon.   1. Detroit City 2020 2. Go Man Go 3. East Side Story 4. Your Mama Won't Like Me 5. Devil With A Blue Dress On / Chains Of Love 6. Sister Anne 7. Don't Give Up (Bonus Track) 8. Go Man Go (Live At Hellfest 2022) (Bonus Track)
    • New song "Summerlovin" feat. Olli Herman, me likey...
    • Pretty awesome! I often fantasize about starting an AOR, but I know nothing about making music.
    • Not gonna lie, I kind of like it. Hardly classic Crue, more like something that would have appeared on the Corabi-fronted self-titled album, but it's not bad for an oldschool band trying a modern hard rock song. That being said, I expect my opinion to be a lonely one, and I understand why fans are dogging on it...
    • Hi everybody, my band (Ricky Shindig) just released a cover version of Journey's Separate Ways. Before we were Ricky Shindig, three of us were in a cover band together. As a little "turn back time" we decided to record a cover song while we slowly start working on some new material.  We chose 'Separate Ways' because this song is an essential part of every Ricky Shindig party and one of the catchiest songs ever written. We are looking forward to hearing any kind of feedback
    • Posted the first few videos when they dropped but realised I had not posted about the album, which is probably as I can't afford it. Not only is the CD $20 ($30 signed), but the postage to the UK is $46.25, which is by far the most anyone from the USA has tried to charge. Their answer when I questioned this was "We don't control the postal system". Now I know US prices are high on postage, but not this high. $30 seems to be the norm these days, but I have had two CD orders from the USA that have cost $9 and $5 (not sure how but I aint complaining). Anyway, the album is already out
