I'm hoping it doesn't disappoint. From the sounds of it, it won't, but you never know until you have the full product in rotation.

I finally got to properly play this song. Fucking Brilliant! The vocals are amazing and the guitar solo is sheer wickedness. This one will surely be on my top 10 of 2016.

OH JESUS! NOOOOOO!

I just saw the video for the track Havoc on Melodicrock. It's fucking terrible. Sounds like a bad Shinedown imitation....although with a great solo.

First it was Dream Theater and now Circus Maximus, what are some of my favorite bands doing? Even the new Reckless Love track has left me cold.

Really? I haven't listened to it, yet. That makes no sense. Why go that direction? Hopefully it's just the one track.

See, I'm not a huge fan of the first. Second is great. Third is phenomenal!!

Sorry Karpet, first was amazing, second was OK, third no good and this new clip sounds terrible!

Damn. They posted the single on their FaceTubes, and they are getting berated there, too. On one hand I feel sorry for them, but, then, they should know better.

So much hate for this song.

I wonder if it's too late to remove the song from the album or have they already all been pressed? To think that 3 minutes of crap may sink this release.

It majorly pains me to see topics on this band, while similar topics on Conception, Spiral Achitect, Manitou, Arcturus, Wind, Anesthesia are missing. Having just typed this, I must confess I'm not in the mood to open them, because I'm still concentrating in my 1976/1986/1996/2016 comprehensive reviews.

They just released another track called 'Pages', although not brilliant, it does at least sound like CM and yet again has a crazy good guitar solo.

OK.....three really good tracks and one sorta dud that is only 3 minutes long....I can live with that.

Cool video for this one as well.

I've listened to this track like 6 or 7 times in the past few hours...if you loved Last Goodbye from Nine you should love this one. I've already ordered this one.

Well, it's not in their favor that I've listened to their new album(Jap. pressing) next to the new Redemption. Although, overall, a good release, it pales in comparison with Redemption.

Actually Redemption tried to follow the formula of Circus Maximus, Threshold and other easy listening so called "prog metal" bands and they wipe the floor with them all in their field. But, I'll leave that for a Redemption topic, which, btw, I'm not in the mood of creating.

Initial thought on this, a more melodic approach, maybe less metal and more in the hard rock category, still have that prog touch but a volatile album. Four tracks I really love here are 'The Weight', 'Flames' (being the best one), 'Loved Ones', and 'Remember', and clearly dislike 'Havoc' so much and 'Pages' is a bit let down too. A strong production and of course solid musicianship but overall it's a good 73% album for me.

Rating will change after couple more spins but I think it might be safe to say that 'Nine' is better

Dare to open a Redemption topic, buddy? I'm curious to know your thoughts on it.

Checked out Redemption once buddy, i rated it quite similar to Circus Maximus but slightly prefer CM, maybe because it's more melodic and more hard rock, but that's of course considering i'm not a number one prog/power fan so maybe your rating is far better but I do heard lots of positive comments from my friend on Redemption and I think it's better than their first album.

Buddy, actually I think Redemption found the formula of being proggy while easily accessible with emphasis on melody/vocal lines. And you know how strict and picky I am with my prog metal, I want it exactly the opposite way. But since Fates Warning's Inside Out I've learned to appreciate accessible prog metal. And the latest Redemption falls to that category.
