The combined ages of your kitties is less than the age of mine. If life gets more interesting than this I am unaware of it.

 

Actually, this just got reeeeaaaal interesting. My pups are 3 and 2. What are the odds? My pups are the same age as your kitties. And my cat's still 6. Which is one year older than the ages of my pups combined.

Yep, that is correct. What's even more mindblowing is that it is 4 years older than my cat, who is 6 years old!
