hardrock80srule
I love Pac-Man fever and east bound and down . Silly songs however would have to be Weirld Al Yankovic. How he was ever to legally take the songs and change them the way he did without law suits everywhere amazes me.
Bubbasmama
Oh gosh..... "Hey baby I'm your telephone man"........remember that one? So silly. I have NO idea who sang it...or any more of it, but the telephone guy at the place I used to work would come in my office singing that to me almost every day. Nostromo
Wildwood Weed by Jim Stafford "Smokin' that wildwood flower got to be a habit, We didn't see no harm. We thought it was kind of handy, Take a trip and never leave the farm!" FYI: Telephone Man by Meri Wilson peaked at #18 in 1977. The song is a Dr. Demento favorite. hsf
Weird Al - everything Not that his changed lyric parodies aren't great, but some of his original stuff is even better. I never was a big fan of the polka compilations (where he'd play polka versions of a verse/chorus of some popular songs of the day). But, the rest of the songs were good to gem-ish. davesworld
Chick-a-boom by Daddy Dewdrop Looks hard for a CD with that on it. Have to agree Disco Duck and Pac Man are two classics. Does anyone remember Popcorn by Hot Butter?

(Plus, I missed that when I typed anyway.)

JSpillman
Drop Kick Me Jesus, Through The Goal Posts Of Life Don't know the artist and I don't think I've every heard the whole song, but I have heard the title chorus and had completely forgotten about it until I saw the NFL highlights of Doug Flutie's PAT yesterday and now the damn thing won't stop playing in my head. MIKE S
Does anyone remember Popcorn by Hot Butter? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'll admit that I'm old enough to remember that one(1972!) - I had one of those K-Tel LPs back then with that tune on it & remember hearing it on the radio many times as well..
