I had no idea Journey played Lollapalooza. That's pretty cool. Some of the early alternative rock bands were influenced by 70s classic arena rock groups. Smashing Pumpkins listed Boston and Journey as influential if I remember right.

yeah I heard that a week or 2 back. Sounded rough as, especially arnels vocals which sound shot.

Supposedly he's sounded a lot better this year.

Arnel is still a terrific showman but man his voice is sounding rough.

(and no, Perry would sound no better at this point in time)
