Oh no. look who's involved...ADV :(

From Frontiers:

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the release of "All The Way", the upcoming debut album from Kraemer on January 28, 2022. Kraemer is a new musical collaboration that sees Finnish vocalist Erik Kraemer (Simulacrum) applying his vocals to melodic hard rock songs in the style of the classic Scandinavian school of the genre.

The musicians playing with vocalist Erik Kraemer on "All The Way" include Alessandro Del Vecchio on bass, keyboards, and background vocals, Andrea Seveso (Robin McAuley) on guitars and Michele Sanna (Brother Against Brother) on drums. With a set of songs written by Del Vecchio, Marco Sivo, Pete Alpenborg (ex-Arctic Rain), Kristian Fyhr (Seventh Crystal), Jan Akesson (Infinite & Divine), Ulrick Lönnqvist, Fabio Dessi, and Carmine Martone, and outstanding production from the always in demand Del Vecchio, this record showcases the talents of one of the hottest up-and-coming vocalists of the European scene and will be an absolute delight for the ears of all melodic music lovers.

Erik Kraemer is a singer and performer who has years of experience touring in his homeland of Finland with different bands and has also starred in various musical productions. He is also known for being one of the singers of Finnish progressive metallers Simulacrum. Additionally, he has collaborated with Timo Tolkki (Timo Tolkki's Avalon, ex-Stratovarius) on the guitarist's Infinite Visions project and more recently on the Circus Of Rock project masterminded by Finnish drummer Mirka Rantanen (Raskasta Joulua, King Company).

Erik's musical adventure started at the age of eight when his mother started taking him to choir practices at the Turku Cathedral. At the same time, he also started piano lessons. All together, he sang for ten years in the choir and played piano for nine years. Classical music didn't appeal to him much though and he started listening to hard rock and heavy metal. Later, Erik graduated from the Turku University of Applied Sciences with a Bachelor of Social Services degree in 2013 and as a musician from the Turku Conservatory in 2016. He has acted in many theatre productions and perhaps his most known role is the interpretation of legendary Finnish singer Rauli Badding Somerjoki.

Is he, though? Serious question. Is he actually in demand, or is there an obligation for these bands to use him?

It has to be a Frontiers thing. Every fucking album features him in some capacity now.

Like, yeah, we'll release and distribute your album, but only if we get some creative input.

Very annoying but I'm guessing it's a money-saving maneuver, because, well, this is a record label we're talking about here!

Not a great album, but not bad. I thought it was pretty decent. 'Take Me Back To' and 'Loving a Stranger' are two nice songs.

    • Yeah saw this posted today. Always great to hear some new Europe. I've been enjoying their later, heavier albums.
    • New video for 'Don't Wanna Live Without Your Love'.
    • Shows promise in some areas... and in other areas not so much.
    • I hope they bring the Redskins name back, personally. Not that I care about especially care about football, but because I worked with a super chill Native American guy who has a DIEHARD Redskins fan. I once asked him, "Hey Andy, uh, isn't that name like, offensive to your people?" I'll never forget the look he gave me. He was dumbfounded. He goes, "Why would I be offended?" and points at the logo, "that's me!"
    • Wahey!  Glad to see this.  I love Hugo Valenti's stuff, I'm sure this will be no different. As long as the production is nothing like Hugo 3: Fire In The Night... Robby Hoffman and Steve Ferlazzo are from Sunshine Jive (fka In The Pink) and Robby currently manages Extreme, so it should sound great.
    • At least someone appreciates it  I'm sure Jez will too when/if he reads this. Nowadays it mostly feels like talking to the deaf...or rather posting for the blind...
    • Premiere for the new song 'Rise Again' tomorrow. "RETURN ME TO LIGHT" Tracklist:  1. Rise Again  2. Anymore  3. Pieces Of Forever  4. Hope’s Holding You  5. Spinning Wheel  6. Out Of The Dark  7. Eternal Flame  8. To Be Saved  9. Return Me To Light  10. Soul Inside  11. Wounded    LINE-UP:  Michael Sweet - vocals  Alessandro Del Vecchio - guitars, bass, keyboards, backing vocals Michele Sanna – drums
