I thought possibly Kate Pierson from the "B-52s"?

I had to Google it and when I found out I thought, of course!

Two versions of the same song and one of my favourites ever!

I could've also posted this in the re-recorded thread. 

This one's similar in theme to W.A.S.P.'s "Sleeping in the Fire".

I always loved the original and still do, but I think I love the newer version just as much. 

It's darker, which suits the subject matter and there's some great added elements.
