Never heard of these guýs before and now they've just released their third album 'WWIII'.

Sounds pretty good to me.

From FB:

Following the success of opening for Status Quo, The Darkness, Black Stone Cherry, Slade, Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake), Eric Martin (Mr Big), Graham Bonnet (Rainbow); Walkway’s distinct vocals, jaw dropping solos and solid rhythm section have created a huge buzz and gained the band the reputation as one of the UK’s best unsigned rock bands.

Touring extensively, including shows in Europe (2015 & 2016 totalled a staggering 245 performances), two successful releases in the band’s debut album 'Top Shelf Content' (Dec 2012), second album “Streetwise” (Sept 2014), plus national airplay on BBC Radio 2, Walkway have a huge national fan-base of all ages and a large ever growing online fan base to match.

The successful Walkway brand sees a range of merchandise from caps and badges to beanies and T-shirts and hoodies, plus copies of the bands albums sold and promoted by the band themselves.

The distinctive Walkway logo is easily recognised and seen up and down the country.

Walkway entered the recording studio in February 2017 to record their highly anticipated third album, which is set for release later this year.
Along with this brand new set of Walkway material, the record will also feature a tribute to the late Rick Parfitt of Status Quo.
A cover of "Rain" has been recorded with none other than original Status Quo drummer John Coghlan playing drums on the track.

2017 see’s Walkway reach the 10 year milestone, plus play their 1000th show since forming in 2007.

"Really enjoyed it, loved the energy you guys had.
You boys are annoyingly good"
- Rick Parfitt & Francis Rossi (Status Quo)

“I actually felt like I was at your show…”
- Dan Hawkins, Guitarist for The Darkness

“You guys have got a very bright future ahead of you”
- Chris Robertson, Singer and Lead Guitarist for Black Stone Cherry

“Walkway is a band full of potential with a pounding rhythm section and a rising star guitarist in James Ready.
Overlook these guys at your peril!”
- Darren Redick, presenter on Planet Rock Radio

“Love the playing, great show!
I look forward to seeing you guys again"
- Herman Li, Lead Guitarist for DragonForce

    • Also last couple of songs have an Axl Rose or Stephen Shareaux vibe to them.
    • He has such a familiar and somewhat comforting voice. For me he was the best of Krokus. The Blitz, Change Of Address and Heart Attack. Not to say I don't like otehr songs, I do, but he make Krokus a nice rounded package with great consistant songs. This song is a bit too AC/DC for me, but as usual hookier and a better tune than most ACDC songs
    • So I've listend to this enough to review it. Overall it's a ptrtty good album. Most of the songs are good or really good. Not many if any great or mind blowing songs. So for me it's an easy album to listen to. Most of the songs will be keepers, amny of them will just scrape through as keepers.
