I know I started a topic about 3D tv's on here but because of the search features I can not find it but now they are putting a stake in the 3D tv segment

I bought one, but I haven't really found a use for its capabilities. I have My Bloody Valentine 3D. Unfortunately the 3D aspects were awkward. I haven't checked any other movies.

Can't stand 3D. It's been a real case of the Emperor's New Clothes. A way to sell new tv's based on a gimmick.

I said on a previous thread that it was a fad and not worth buying...always nice to be proven right...

I was at a 3DTV demonstration at a mall a couple of years ago. They put those damn glasses on me and I couldn't make heads or tails out of what I was looking at. I don't know if my particular vision problems prevented me from seeing the 3D effects or what, but all I saw was a muddled mess. I handed the glasses back to the guy and said "Uhhh, yeah, OK. Good luck. I don't need this."

The only thing they were going to be useful for, was a new jerking epilogue, 3D Porn, that was the pinnacle and only thing I was looking forward to peeping out

I see distance with one eye and near with the other so 3D is worthless to me, but I figured the whole 3D tv thing was just an overpriced fad.

That was about the only use I got out of it. Rachel Roxx and Rachel Starr look pretty sweet in 3D.
