was talking to Russ Dwarf on twatter about his new CD, and happened to mention that its about time someone reissued Stand tall again, his answer "stay tuned to my FB and Twitter pages for news....shh don't say anything!".

So yeah, I didnt say anything ok.

Wow, I had no idea the reissue wasn't available anymore. Glad I grabbed mine when I had the chance. I personally would love a reissue of the Reunion Of Scribes disc.

Reunion is still pretty easy to obtain. On Amazon UK I can pick that up for £13 at the moment, but Stand tall is always knocking around the £75 or more.

The reissue from what I understand was deleted almost straight after it was released, no more than a couple of years of availability.

I'm sitting here remembering when I first heard them. I went into a record store that had "Big Deal" playing. I was blown away. So I went to the counter had they had a "Now Playing" shelf with Killer Dwarfs "Big Deal" in the "box". I had to own it. What a fantastic piece of melodic hard rock. I bought it instantly.

Would love if Rock Candy reissued their catalog although Weapons and Big Deal reissues are easy to find with the Method songs as bonus tracks.

It's funny how that works. Big Deal can now be found pretty much anywhere, but 15 years ago I had to drive 150 miles to a used cd store buy one. Good thing gas was only $1.20 then.

I only got into them back in 2008 when I picked up Dirty weapons on a whim to see what they were like, and then ordered Big Deal and Method to the madness a week later as they were both cheap. Took a few years to pick up the debut though as it was always around £15, and I prefer to get CDs cheaper than that wherever possible.

Stand tall I only have as a poor vinyl rip that I downloaded somewhere.

Just looking at Amazon UK, and most of them are all available for around £10 each, so only way a reissue would be worthwhile is if they have some unreleased tracks or something.

I agree but it hasn't stopped Rock Candy from releasing many easy to find discs like the first two LA Guns but I'm happy they did since they do sound better.

  • 3 weeks later...

And now comes the possibility of a new album, albeit an unreleased one from 1993.

I have that album in perfect sound. It must have been recorded and shelved. In my opinion, it's the best thing they ever did.

I agree, it's a kickass album and it will be nice to finally be able to get an official release of it.

I think I have some mp3s somewhere of that but I can't remember what I thought of it but to say it's better than Dirty Weapons is just crazy IMO....

Is this unreleased album the "Just Another Day" disc? I've had the mp3's for awhile and the sound is pretty damn excellent. The songs are awesome too.

My mp3's tracklist for this are:

1. Just Another Day

2. Psycho Circus Clown

3. Keep My Life

4. Annaleanah

5, Cycle Of The Future

6. Turn It Around (#1)

7. If I Could

8. Hollywood

9. Won't Go Flyin' (You Can't Run)

10. If I Could (#2)

    • Motley Crue signed with the country label from Tennessee Big Machine Rec.. New song Dogs of War relased on Friday the 26th. Other than that don't ask me what there doing they did a little video of them signing contract and it doesn't include John 5 so he's not really part of Motley he's a hired gun..  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3iDklwv1PI&t=2s
    • Thanks I was wondering why he went with this cover ...lol  I wouldn't have but again thats me ...lol But I will be buying this CD. Peace Guys ...
    • Not much information on the video's page, other than it appears to be an AI creation. Once it gets into the verse and especially the chorus, it's actually not too bad IMO.
    • While I appreciate your interest in contributing to the site, most of the artists and albums you are submitting are either REALLLLLLY stretching the boundaries, or as in the case of this band, completely off the mark. No alternagrunge. No punk. No death metal/power metal (although those can be submitted to Brutal Metal). You can always start a thread asking about a particular artist before blindly submitting it for inclusion. Thanks! -Dan
