Lots of little subtle changes, but overall the whole album is perfectly reconstructed. The new tracks are freeking amazing as hoped/expected.

Andrew, you're killing me.

Which track did they cut? Or are you not at liberty to say?

they cut a track?? really........lets hope it wasnt from the first half.

Mandy maybe?? Cant see much point in re-recording that?

If they re-corded to reclaim recording rights, why leave a track off? That doesnt make sense.

Samples from 'Mood Swing II':

Absolutely does not need to be re-recorded...

but HOLY SHIT THAT IS GOOD!!

Absolutely does..........as previously mentioned this is purely to re-gain the recording rights.

Also 3 new songs...........that's what Im excited about.

The new song sounds amazing to these ears.

[one thing that does piss me off though is that Harry is still not going to sing Sent Blvd.....he sounded amazing on his solo album but the production wasnt beefy enough - I was looking forward to finally having a definitive version of this track - Harry singing with a huge production but sadly that wont be the case :-(]

Have to disagree on SB as Darrin killed Harry on the original.

Maybe I'm wrong - hopefully I'm wrong - but I thought a few people here had said they were cutting a track.

I love Mood Swings but the song I've never really liked is "Change Comes Around". I love the rest. Am I alone in this or what? :anon:

Yes. You are alone. But I'm glad you're still around.

I honestly don't hear much difference, goes to show you how good the original Mood Swings really was. Like Nolan, I so wish they would re-record the self titled album, that one needs a massive production make over.

Not sure I'll buy this one, I do want the new songs, but I'm happy with my copy of the original 1993 Mood Swings.

I like the chorus but hate the guitar sound and Hess' vocals on the verses.

There was talk of cutting Just Like I Am, but it's there...along with the rest of the album.

You mean "Just Like I Planned." Thank God. I love that track! I know Geoffery, and some others would consider it a 'non-song,' but I think it perfectly showcases who Harem Scarem are: a band so talented they don't need instruments, and a band willing to take such risks. What other Melodic Rock band had an a cappella track on their sophomore effort?

will it be electric though?? Now that would be something different.

That's how I mixed them up. Hate hearing tracks from the same album back-to-back so I try to randomly arrange them.

You know we have a mixtape thread somewhere here, if you're into that sort of thing. I'm about to post my latest one, myself.

I love what I heard off the sampler on those 3 new tracks, just hope they really are as great when hearing the full songs. the recent HS track recoprd hasn't impressed me much honestly. I've also seen peeps who've already got thier promo copies of the re recorded mood swings hint that it does nt rock as much as the original, never the less, can't wait to hear it .

Yup just heard the promo via haulix and it sounds GREAT! The new Sammy Hagar on the other hand I thought was awful.

Sammy hasn't even done a decent solo album since Mars. Ugg...

    • It's ok. I think people know I am a massive Crue fan, and I like a lot of stuff by them that people hate (the Generation Swine album for example) but the only newer original song I have cared about them in recent years was The Dirt. Everything else has been either meh or crap. I did also like their cover of Like a virgin, which I know a lot of peeps didn't like, so it's not like I am just craving the good old days. I would be happy if we could get a song close to Afraid, Saints of Los Angeles or the aforementioned The Dirt. I think songs like that will be few and far between sadly.
    • Have to agree. Although my expectations were that it would be absolutely horrible like Dogs of War lol. Still far away from classic Motley Crue but I at least made it all the way through this one so that's a positive. Still nothing to write home about but at least it rocks fairly well and there's a semblance of a song there.
    • Just ordered!   All three Magic Dance EPs (Another World, Kiss Scene and Haunting Me) combined into one CD. All new artwork, lyric booklet and three bonus tracks. Silver-pressed replication CD.     https://magicdance.bandcamp.com/album/magic-dance-the-eps
    • Stumbled upon these guys on the Instagrams. Pretty good mix of Modern Rock and Metal with blazing guitars and heavy double-bass drums, and Pop Punk-style vocals.
    • Well... I just jizzed in my pants.  I'm so glad these guys aren't a one-and-done act. Looking forward to much more music, hopefully.
    • Great album upon first few spins..I mean how good/catchy is the track "Lets Go Rent A Video" especially for those of us who actually remember doing that lol
