For me it's one of the best albums of the last few years. Holds together very well. And she's hot as hell.

I was lucky enough to see them live a couple of weeks ago and they put together a really good show as well.

I'm with Peter on this. Great CD, definitely one of the top 3 of the year. It's heavy, melodic, catchy and a little bit different but oh so cool the entire time. Pick up the deluxe edition for addrelease that has all of the reanimate (vol. 1 - impossible or very expensive to get now) tracks with the exception of welcome to the jungle. Or just grab the regular CD, you won't be disappointed!

I cant say enough good things about Halestorm. Both the debut and Strange case of are must have albums in my opinion.

What I really love about them (and especially Lzzy) is how they can be doing the most delicate piano lead ballad one minute, and a balls out almost metal song the next.

Hell, you only have to listen to their cover of Slave to the grind to hear that Lzzy has more balls than most male singers when it comes to singing.

Thanks for some of the thoughts on this...went ahead and ordered the deluxe edition of Stranger Case of after pretty much listening to each song on You Tube....And finding that I wanted to listen to them again....

 

I kinda like that it's different than any other CD I currently own....But also still catchy with hooks and seemingly great production.....and rocks.

 

Maybe I can get my 13 year old daughter listening to this instead of the teenie bop stuff she normally listens to

You might want to listen to some of the lyrics more closely before letting your 13 year old daughter lose on it;-)
