..Agreed that it was a great game, but you both forgot to add that, pardon my French, John Terry is a complete and utter c**t and a disgrace to football!!The quicker the footballing world forgets about him the better imo.

Bernd, after last nights 2-1 win over Madrid, what do you think of their chances of progressing to the final?

I was torn over who I wanted to win, like to watch both teams but thought maybe Madrid v Barcelona final would be more of a spectacle.

If next week Bayern play the way they played yesterday they might even have a chance to get to the finals. For me this would be sensational, of course, as I live in Munich. Madrid v Barcelona already took place three times this year and Barca won every time. Not sure how much of a spectacle that will be. Bayern need to stabilize their defence and use the many chances they are given in the front (Gomez).

Could well be Chelsea vs Munich after last night !

One step closer.........

Cracking game last night...Chelsea rode their luck but their defensive performance was amazing.

& the Torres goal at the end just made me laugh....his mistake left him further up field than he should have been and when the ball broke he was 40 yards clear lol !! Could nt make it up.

Yeah that was classic. Good finish though, even if his all-round game is (as it always was) terrible. Chelsea need to play him as an out-and-out striker who plays on the last defender and doesn't have to track-back, then he'll get goals.

Barcelona were frankly pretty predictable and don't have enough pace in their play to stretch the game. Means they're always liable to a defeat if a team is well organised or lucky enough (not many are!) I reckon Chelsea versus Madrid...

Yeah quite, I chose purposely not to mention him because one twat shouldnt overshadow what was otherwise a pretty heroic performance by Chelsea.

Yeah, we'll be in a relegation battle next season. Which means worst case scenario we could be playing Luton the season after. Only if you get 2 promotions in a row though. ;)

:rofl2: Pigs will fly and all that!! It taken them 3 years and they still can't get out of the shite league. Why is that I hear you cry. Simple, cos they ain't good enough to play in a proper league.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Some people really should take a step back, look at their own teams situation, before trying to slag off another one. :aw:

City deserved to win, Man Utd were terrible, Nani was a waste of time, looking at both line ups, Man City have a cracking side and will win the league deservedly so.

Really gutted about this. This is the most awful example yet of a team buying a title. The team may deserve to win the title this season, but the club certainly hasn't earnt it's success.

All a club is is a title at the end of the day. The day the premiership died was when they started importing foreign players in droves.

ManU are actaully one of the few clubs which still flies the England banner, but most other clubs in the League have very little to do with the area in which they are situated.....Chelsea, mainly foreign....Arsenal, mainly foreign....the list goes on.

All these clubs have bought big over the years, Man City never could because they didnt have the finances....hence they were laughed at by ManU for years as the poor noisy neighbours.

Revenge must be sweeeeeet for those fans now.

I dont begrudge them a thing to be honest, and if Fergie ends up potless at the end of the season I hope he buggers off and retires. About time IMO

I absolutely agree ! I once saw an Arsenal game on TV and there was only ONE English bloke playing in that team. About time the UEFA does something about this. They have been talking about implementing some changes long enough, imo.

Our new kits are online. Not sure what I think of the home shirt, it is very much like Barca: new CPFC kits

What I find a lot more exciting is the CPFC Beer Festival on 26 May! :drink:

Yeah, I agree about the away shirt. Not for me.

I'm just a bit concerned about the irony of wearing a kit that looks like Barcelona's when we are losing to the likes of Barnsley, Peterborough and Charlton (spit) every week...
