Haven't seen either one in a long time but I remember being vaguely disappointed by "2" and thinking that it wasn't as good as the first.

On the other hand, "2" has a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo by '80s porn queen Ginger Lynn (aka Ginger Lynn Allen) as a saloon girl. She was dating Charlie Sheen at the time. I think she gets shot in the back.

Damn trolls.

My vote is for part 1. 2 was good but not as good IMO.

The first Young Guns is a classic! Don't really care for part 2. Young Guns 1 though ranks up there as one of my all-time favorite westerns along with Tombstone and 3:10 To Yuma.

Both good films, I like the addition of Christian Slater in the second one, but the first one is probably better. I do think of them as 'fun' Westerns though; not serious ones like the moody Spaghetti Westerns. Does that make sense?

Tombstone is awesome though, Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday is one of my favourite acting performances of all time. Love Westerns, 'The Good, The Bad & The Ugly' is probably my favourite.

1 is better than 2, but love both! Tombstone is awesome to, and I like Silverado, as well as The Magnificent 7.

The peyote trippin' scene in the first "Young Guns" is priceless. "You guys see the size of that.... CHICKEN!?!??" :rofl2:
