Jesse Harte tried joining Warrant back around 1993 when Jani supposedly quit. Butch Walker wont even acknowledge anything Southgang related these days anyway. I predict a 100% chance of no reunion

Some of those Jesse songs are on Turner's Hollywood Undrground disc aren't they? I agree a reunion will never happen but I sure wish it would.

A full re-union would never happen but I'd be happy with a 3/4 reunion, minus Butch, of course.

The only problem with that is that the other two are probably closer to Butch than they are to Jesse, seeing as they were in M3 with him.

It really annoys me that Butch acts like he was never in a band before the Floyds etc.

Yeah, I'd also assume they were closer with Butch but they haven't recorded together since M3, have they? It'd be cool if they were just looking to do something musical again and the idea of a reunion with Jesse Harte popped up as a possibility.

But come to think of it, wasn't the reason M3 split up pretty much because the other 2 guys were getting out of music to concentrate on their lives outside of music?

I know the band were pissed off with Elektra and the fact that they totally failed to promote them, which could have left the Mitch and Jayce somewhat jaded with the music industry, but am guessing that Butch also wanted to spread his wings musically as well.

According to Wikipedia, for what thats worth, they have both played with Butch on and off over the years at various live shows.

And this is what it says on the Southgang page:

"Jesse Harte is currently residing in the Atlanta Area, working in the cell phone industry.

Mitch McLee is still playing drums in Atlanta, Georgia.

Jayce Fincher is married to Christina Loree with a couple of children. He is working at a church in Atlanta as the musical production "go to" person. He also works with the middle school ministry."

Nice ballad 'Love Ain't Enough'..IMO the band's best ballad.

Although ''Aim For The Heart'' is a pretty good one.

Love For Sale is one of my fav in the first album...

Butch Walker released the album: I Liked It Better When You Had No Heart last year.He just seem so tired and out of inspiration and of course no similarities with the ...Gang...

Strange that track 07 is called: ''She Likes Hair Bands''

Getting older I guess

All the Butch shows I ever went to, other than once, no one ever yelled out "Play Southgang!", probably knowing his predilection for ignoring his past or not even knowing who SG was/liking that kind of music.

With all the covers and other things Butch has played/mimicked over the years, I'm thinking some SG at least on one year's tour, would have pacified a TON of his fans. And now with a lot of the dreck he's putting out, he really needs to pacify some fans.

I'm not naive enough to hope for a reunion (unless Butch were to suffer from amnesia), but with all the other nostalgia stuff going on, I'm wondering if Jayce and Slug begged him to do a one off, if he'd even consider it. (Then again, as close as they all are, I'm sure they know not to even bring it up.) For the life of me, though, I can't see being more embarrassed of the SG material than some of the stuff on this last album.
