I swear the person who is coming up with all the mascots / emblems for this Olympics is a Simpsons fan....this must be ripped off from Kodos and Kang, and the actual Olympic sign is the well know Lisa Simpson being rude to some dude!

As expected, they look ridiculous. The CGI ones still look odd (but a million times better than the blokes in suits):

You know... now that I look at this again I may be changing my mind.

A pair of "one eyed trouser snakes" dancing in front of a rainbow. Not sure how to say this without sounding prejudice ... BUt that's really kinda gay.

The sad thing is that somebody at an ad agency probably got paid big bucks to come up with those two, er, "things"....

Any idea what they're supposed to be?

No idea. They look a bit like some sort of mobile phone (or other electronic device). Is this the Olympics organisers showing that they're 'down with the kids'? ;)
